The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The breakfast was ok nothing special but it’s hot and free so what more could you want. The coffee is 24/7 and not terrible. The service was excellent and very professional. The pool was clean and warm. It is sandwiched between Dairy Queen and Applebees. This was quite convenient for a quick 1 minute walk for a blizzard after dinner. Now for the not so great. Upon check in I’m told that the property is smoke free (perfect because I don’t smoke!) unfortunately staff was smoking right outside the doors outside and the hallways smelled like smoke. There is absolutely no sound proofing. Our neighbors across the hall were very loud and all conversations could be heard easily through 2 closed doors and a hallway separating us. The tv remote barely worked and the tv needs to be updated. (Minor inconvenience) overall not a bad place to stay on the cheap. It could definitely use some renovations and updating. Please don’t let people smoke right outside the doors outside and get something to eliminate smoke orders in the hallways especially by the entrances/exits. We would stay again and tell others too as well if they are looking for a decent place to stay in the heart of North Conway.

My husband and I stayed here with our son. All doors leading outside were left unlocked, anyone could’ve entered the building at any time. Our room has a musty smell to it, dirty linens, dirty carpet and the microwave had old food stuck inside of it. The walls and floors are also incredibly thin and you can hear every step and conversation making it very difficult to sleep. I understand why this place is so cheap compared to its surrounding hotels. We wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone. The staff also yelled at my husband for the behavior of our 2 year old autistic son because he was helping cook and prepare our food at breakfast (mind you we were the only ones in there right at 7am and practice life skills with him everyday). She told him that my son wasn’t tall enough to reach over the counter therefore he shouldn’t have been down there. Terrible attitudes, disgusting rooms. We spent most of our time out around town thankfully. The best part was checking out at 7:30 on Sunday and getting the hell out of there.

Had a nice stay but… We were on the first floor and it was so noisy. Paper thin walls so anyone walking down the hall talking could be heard like they were in the room with us and we could also hear people in the room above us. Not fun at 2am and 3am Staff was nice Area was close to shopping and restaurants Room was clean for the most part. Bathroom was very small Free Breakfast was nice Pool was heated and my daughter enjoyed it. It was fine for one night but I’m not sure I would go back if we decide to stay a bit longer, just because we got zero sleep.

Place was reasonably priced. Didn't give excellent rating for staff since front desk lady was the only person i saw and she also ran the breakfast area. Breakfast was good, many choices. Was great to have on site and not have to leave to go to a restaurant. Room was small, beds close to the door with bathroom in room around corner. Our room definitely not big enough for kids. Didn't use pool but look good. Plenty of things to do within reasonable distance. Would stay again, but probably stay somewhere else.

Travelled with family
Odd smell in the building,carpets were tolerable but felt weird under our shoes. Staff was fine checking in but I received a call at 1230 telling us check out was at 11 and we needed to leave. Was then hung up on when I told them I had been gone since before 10
