"We stayed at Breakwater in October 2023 with two young families. The apartment is well stocked and worked well for two couples with three kids under 4. Luke was super accomodating and provided us with pack n plays and a high chair, and was also very responsive. "The property owner was wonderful providing info and help as needed. The kitchen was well equipped for those who like to prepare meals. Staying on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience."

"Rooms were clean and big. Called ahead of time day of check in to let them know we’d be arriving late and person taking call was ill-mannered on the phone. Upon arriving, service staff were amiable. Breakfast was average. Parking was no problem."
