Welcome to Vermont! This custom-built 2BR, 1BA, pet and smoke free home (this is a strict policy, please don’t ask me for exceptions) is nestled in the foothills of the green mountains. The home sits on a 14 acre lot and is close to hiking, skiing, a horse farm, lakes and Rutland (10 mins). You will love the woodwork, floor-to-ceiling windows, massive sunny deck, and peace and quiet. There is plenty of space for family memory making. This is your new Vermont escape! We are accepting reservations and fully open for business! If you'd like to quarantine in the mountains we are happy to offer you a clean, safe, comfortable place to wait out the storm. Our Covid-19 Promise: \- Cleaned with extra care using disinfectant spray, bleach, and any means necessary to sterilize the place between each guest \- High Speed Wi-Fi (perfect for remote workers) \- Discounts for 7, 14, and 30 day stays (put dates into search to see discount) Features: \- Two Queen Bedrooms \- One Full Bathroom w/shower/tub combo \- Custom Built Kitchen \- Custom Wood Flooring throughout \- Bright and Sunny Custom Built Deck w/BBQ overlooking the Green Mountains \- High Speed Wi-Fi \- Cable TV When you walk into the home from the road side of the lot, you will first walk into a large "mud room" where you will have a clean and secure space to hang your hat/coat and store any ski gear, bikes or other recreational toys you decide to bring up. You will then enter the home near the kitchen where you will be greeted with an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, real pine everything, a fully equipped kitchen, and floor to ceiling windows. The "breakfast nook" serves as a sunny place to dine in the morning and a beautiful family gathering space in the evening. There are two equal sized bedrooms with one queen bed in each room that share a common bath. We have two couches (not fold out) and can provide bedding for an extra fee. It is heated by gas and always warm and cozy (to your liking of course). When you walk through to the back of the home (away from the road), you are greeted with beautiful vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that overlook farmland, horses and the green mountains you came here for! We will have the key ready for you. Wi-fi code will also be provided. Check in is a breeze! Just please let us know the day before what time you are arriving. Check-in is any time after 4pm and check-out is at 11am. Early/late requests will depend on our housekeeper's schedule but we will always try our best to make your experience all it can be! We live next door (part time), but will not be over to bother you unless you need something. I am a quick phone call away if you need anything to help improve your stay. North Clarendon is a small town located 20 minutes from Okemo and Jackson Gore, 25 minutes from Pico, and 35 minutes from Killington Ski Resorts. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby and the town of Rutland is only a 10 minute drive. If you are flying in, the closest airports are Town of Rutland, VT. (10 minutes), Burlington, VT (1.5 hours) Albany, NY (just under 2 hours) and Boston (3 hours). You will most likely have to have a car in order to stay in our home. If you choose to enjoy a night on the town we are a $10 uber ride from town, but having a car will make your stay much more enjoyable. There is a washer and dryer downstairs in the unfinished basement. We have 125 channels including HBO and very fast wi-fi. My buddy Mike and I stayed at Brandon’s house for a week in October for some fall Vermont bass fishing. When traveling I am always looking for a place with ample parking for boats and trucks and an easy turnaround. This house made all of those things easy. The inside of the house is clean and roomy and the bedrooms are comfortable. The bathroom and shower are also nice and clean. We would definitely go back. Mark ##### Mark F.
