« This property is right in the hutongs and it is amazing! It is super convenient, just a few minutes walk from a subway station, right in the middle of two. Little restaurants and shops nearby for convenient needs and meals. It only took us 20 minutes to get to Forbidden City by subway. The property has two separate apartments, both with full bathrooms. One has a living room, the other has a kitchen & laundry. One has a master bed and a lofted queen futon. The other has two lifted futons....

« While our stay got off to a rocky start, the staff were very helpful in sorting out some broken appliances. The room was very clean and comfortable. The halls had a lot of visible dust at the carpet edges but otherwise common spaces were also clean. »

« base-wangfujing was a fantastic "base" for our stay in Beijing. Easy access to the Subway and with lots of restaurants and bars - both traditional and contemporary - within easy walking distance. Easy walking distance to many of the main sties of central Beijing - Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, BeiHai park and the intriguing maze of hustings around NanLuoGuXiang. « Very large room that is decently clean and comes with a kitchen, washer dryer, living area and sofa. Breakfast was decent and relatively inexpensive with ok options. Cleanliness is acceptable but the key concern is the room air conditioning. We went in the spring so we could live with the weak air conditioning. However, it might be hard to deal with during the summertime. Will recommend the Japanese restaurant at the hotel lobby. Food and drinks are absolutely fantastic. »
