This community was originally developed in the 1940's for our military men and women fighting in WWII. Perfect for our family of 5\. What a wonderful welcome! Upon arrival the place was decorated for the Easter weekend (which our kids loved)! Great location within 5 miles of grocery/Costco plus 15 minutes from downtown Charleston/patriot point and less then 30 minutes from the beaches and historical sites. This is a great home base. As an FYI the listing didn’t include that they have a washer and dryer but they do as well as a well stocked kitchen. We would stay again on our next Charleston excursion. ##### Eric T.
