"Te house is beautiful with an amazing view of the sunset. We had a wonderful time and would definelty recommend anyone to stay here. House is big and kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. I would definelty go back there if I’m visiting orcas island. Communication with host was also easy and fast."

"I can't express enough how nice it is to stay at a family-run Inn! 6 months ago, I posted a question asking for a good place to renew our wedding vows on Orcas Island. The Landmark Inn's owners suggested some places and remembered us when we booked our room. We text them to say we were arriving late due to a flight delay. They made late check-in easy for us and had a wonderful charcuterie board from The Goat and Company (https://www.thegoatandco.net/) waiting in the refrigerator! They sent a note explaining that all businesses would be closed by the time we reached our room, so there would be nowhere to get food. I would have been happy with a PBJ but this board has just about everything on it! Receiving that personalized help was so nice; it really started our vacation on a good foot. We had a spectacular view of the East Sound right out of our windows and balcony. Can't say enough nice things about the Landmark Inn!"

"We were thrilled to find this gem of a rental, and Kristen was able to accommodate our large family! We needed the four bedrooms and also happy to have 2 1/2 bathrooms, plus a meticulously maintained hot tub with tub towels provided. The reservation and check in went smoothly. She was very responsive when I had questions and allowed an early check in. The whole house was very clean and tidy, with plenty of thick luxurious Turkish towels in each bathroom. It felt like I was in a luxury spa. Even makeup cloths are provided! Kitchen has most all of your cooking and baking needs (we checked ahead to find out there are no glass pyrex baking dishes for cakes and casseroles, so brought our own). She stocks lots of nice dishes as well as some melamine/ plastic things for casual or children- perfect. We had plenty of kitchen linens and detergents, which we usually have to beg for at other VRBOs. The double oven and huge ice-through-the-door refrigerator are top of the line and much appreciated! Kristen even provides coffee beans and a grinder too. I found many spices and seasonings in the cupboard as well as foil, plastic wrap and storage containers. There were welcome goodies too (won't spoil your surprise !) and toys & games (even cornhole) for all. The orchard and yard are so quaint, we set up a tripod and took family photos out there. The kids got a kick out of the airplanes flying low to land in the airport close by. It was a charming experience overall."

"Perfect location!! While a few planes flew overhead, it wasn’t a bother and actually kinda cool. The single bed is a pullout single sofa type thing and is really best for a kid. The adult who slept it in one night said it wasn’t that comfortable, but the next night a 7 year slept in it and said it was fine. Very clean. We had some issues with the wifi and the host did communicate with us, but we couldn’t get it working properly. We were out and about a lot so wasn’t a huge bother. I would stay again as it was clean and a perfect location."

"A welcoming, traditionally appointed, immaculately clean, bed-and-breakfast, with extremely friendly, personable, and dedicated hosts. Rooms are located up one flight of stairs. The Nuthatch room requires a one-step climb up into the elevated bed, (very comfortable). All amenities are provided. I did miss a comfortable surface to sit on inside the room as the existing two chairs and upholstered bench felt hard and uncomfortable to me. That said, there are numerous very comfortable spaces to nestle into both inside the B&B, e.g., in the living area or the cozy library and on the entrance patio. Breakfasts are extraordinary – freshly made, exquisitely presented, and absolutely delicious. The B&B is very quiet at night; during the day, the sound of occasional propeller aircraft landing and taking off is audible from the airport located nearby. The location is walkable to a lovely small beach, and it is a five-minute drive to the center of Eastsound village. Overall, this was a pleasant and rewarding stay."
