"Absolutely outstanding week in a water bungalow. Excellent staff and service, facilities, food and could not have had a more brilliant time. It is a magical island and surrounded by unbelievably beautiful incredible sea life. Could not recommend more highly. Susil and Aalif in the outdoor dining, Schoag our room attendant, Shareef at the pool restaurant and Dinnusha the pool lady .... were all especially 5*****!"

"Our stay at Velassaru was amazing. We spent 12 days on the island, and did not want to leave... The level of service and dedication of the staff are beyond the words. The hotel is ideal for family or romantic getaway. The island is very small and that makes it really quiet and peaceful. You can see Male as it is really close by, but on the other hand you don't need to spent extra hours for getting to the island. Highly recommend this hotel to all lovers of the tranquil holidays."

The staff is very friendly and amazing! our villa was cleaned twice daily and the housekeeper Malek that cleaned our room did very well ! We are very pleased with the service! Also it was very quiet and truly relaxing! The weather was just perfect!Overall we are 10/10 satisfied ! Will be returning again!"

"The resort was wonderful, the staff were great, food was good and healthy (aside from the desert bar, haha). My only request to improve the stay is to limit the areas that people can smoke, it was very hard to find somewhere that was free of cigarette smoke."

"I loved everything about the property, had trouble with getting the TV to work as it kept saying no signal but to be honest TV was the last thing I cared about as everything else in the accomodation was a dream of perfection "
