So glad we have discovered The Grange
Such a lovely b&b. Everything had been thought through. Quality breakfast, lovely room and and en suite. Very peaceful. Comfortable bed. Great hosting, felt very at home.

Overall, a faultless stay in a fabulous B&B.
Stayed for 2 nights at The Grange in Cressey room, a double room with King sized bed. The room overlooks the garden and is extremely quiet. The owners, Sarah and Stewart were away, however we were looked after extremely well by their daughter, Kate. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets, pillows and pillowcases. The room was well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, safe, iron and ironing board and electric fan. The multi choice breakfast was plentiful and filling. Both mornings we had cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, cereals and porridge were also available. The Grange’s many facilities include a lovely lounge with adjoining honesty bar. Safe car parking behind secure electronic gates, walking distance into the centre of Normanton if required. Overall, a faultless stay in a fabulous B&B.

Wonderful B&B
Wonderful place to stay. Warm welcome from Sarah and Stewart after a long and frustrating journey up the A1. Room very comfortable with fresh milk and cold water. Lovely little touches which made it special. The breakfast next morning couldn't have been better! Will definitely stay here again when visiting our son in Leeds.

The Grange was run by Sarah and Stuart, a very pleasant and attentive couple. They were very organised and everything in the B&B was spot on from the comfortable bed, great garden view, excellent shower and great breakfast. Only stopped overnight but would definitely use again and happily stay longer.

The Grange.
The Grange is more beautiful than the pictures. The hosts are welcoming and put you at ease immediately, you feel so relaxed. Our room was beautiful, I slept so well. I didn’t want to check out. There is so much choice for breakfast. We had the cooked breakfast with quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The standard of cleanliness is 100%. It was the first time my sister and I have stayed at The Grange and will definitely be going back again. Susan and Stuart are lovely.

Our third stay at the grange visiting family close by.stuart and sarah are very welcoming and can't do enough for you,at the same time respect your privacy. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Outstanding, it was a little hard to find but once there, the lovely hosts were very welcoming. I had a van and trailer and help was provided storing the trailer. The room was large and comfortable with a lovely breakfast provided. Definitely recommend.

We had a short two night stay in the "Cressey" - a very comfortable room with a pleasant outlook. Everything was provided for our convenience. We particularly liked the mini-fridge with water and fresh milk. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Bed - very comfortable. Our hosts, Sarah and Stuart were keen to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. We didn't have time to enjoy some things like the guest lounge and garden arbor, but the fact that they were there says a lot about the level of care that is given.

Before i booked this stay i checked previous reviews and just about every one was a ten. I am not surprised as i loved it too. Great welcome and very friendly. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. Nice touches such as fresh milk in the mini fridge and good range of tea and coffee. Breakfast was top class and set me up for the day. I would love to stay here again and the hosts deserve all the great reviews they get. Best place ive stayed in a very long time.

Astonishing idiosyncratic oasis of peace and class
I was completely unprepared for the Grange , when I booked only as a bed for the night. It is an impressive Georgian edifice rendered friendly and comfortable by furnishings and smiles. The owners are like aunty and uncle who can't do enough for you, without intruding. Amazing value. Highly recommended.

Very enjoyable stay at The Grange!
Made extremely welcome by Sarah and Stuart. Very friendly and offered to let us leave our car there all day whilst we went on a long train journey if no room at the station car park. There was room in the car park as it happened but it was a genuinely kind offer. Lovely room and although next to a church with bell that chimed we had an excellent sleep - incredibly peaceful. We used the ‘honesty’ bar and sat in a cosy lounge during the evening. Stuart’s breakfast was superb - the thickest tasty bacon, sausage , mushrooms, baked beans and eggs of our choosing. Other ingredients available. Very nicely presented in the dining room which was full of interesting objects. Would definitely recommend to others and return ourselves if in the area again. Nothing was too much trouble- a home from home!

Lovely B&B experience within a rustic locale cottage environment. Secure parking. Excellent breakfast included with a variety of options available. The homemade marmalade on crispy toast was a special treat! Comfortable cosy room with a luxurious private bathroom. The garden/patio area was a picturesque place to relax with for liquid refreshment. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Good location for the surrounding area.

What a gem
What a gem. This establishment I could. Not recommend enough. Fantastic facilities. Lovely comfortable bed with plenty of comfortable pillows. Located off the main road so really quiet, for a great night's sleep. Fantastic welcome by the loveliest of hosts and Stuart's breakfast is delicious. To sum up, fantastic value for money. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.
