The room was small, but the hotel itself was great. Really enjoyed the huge complementary breakfast buffet. The shuttles running every 15 minutes to the game was a great deal. No traffic in or out period and we went to a big game. If you're going to an OU football game this is a no brainer!

Everything was almost perfect! Our favorite hotel now. I don't think we will be staying @ HYATT Place. After Embassy Suites, let's just say we were very impressed! Although, we would like to let you know that the front desk staff needs to be more knowledgable of their times of Breakfast, we were told by Joseph that breakfast would be served @ 6 AM. We went downstairs on Labor Day @ 6 am, and we were told on Holidays it would open a little bit later @ 7:30 instead or 6 am.
I personally believe that we have to be considerate of our customers. That is all.
Nice room for the 3 of us. Easy access, lots of nearby places to eat. Quiet rooms without highway noise. Staff was responsive and polite. Full breakfast was good. Nice to have coffee available in lobby all day.

We had very good experience. EVERYONE at the hotel/restaurant/cleaning people was very friendly and accommodating. There is OU memorabilia ALL over the walls of Sooner Legands and we spent a lot of time, just looking and enjoying going down "memory Lane" with the pictures of Bud Wilkinson, Barry Switzer, Bob Stoops.........and the teams involved. The rooms were VERY clean and roomy. We will stay there again. It is our hotel of choice when we go to Norman, Oklahoma :-)
We had a VERY good buffet breakfast and many choices of hot and cold food.

Our experience was ok but when I asked to get a glass of wine I was told the bar was closed for i disclosed reasons. When I asked what that meant I was told the workers had a baby shower to go to. My thought is then someone else should of been scheduled to work. If a hotel offers certain amenities then they should be available and not available due to a baby shower???

I LOVE the way the rooms are laid out- the long desk along one wall that serves so many purposes without taking up a bunch of room like tradition hotel room furniture is genius. Made the room feel so much larger than it is. I wish we could stay in this set up every time. We also love La Quinta's pet friendly policy so we tend to always pick one wherever we go- we have learned they all are consistently at least decent places to stay if not really nice.
This was our first time staying at a B&B and I'm not sure I'll ever stay in a hotel again! We were late arriving (after a 14 hour drive) and the Inn Keeper had everything ready to accommodate us. We stayed in the English Hunt room (which I believe was one of the more "basic" rooms). It was comfortable and cozy, the bed was HUGE, the jet tub was a big plus and the homemade breakfast delivered to our room (at a time convenient for US) was DELICIOUS. If you're on the fence, DON'T HESITATE TO STAY HERE. It was a wonderful experience!
Home to the University of Oklahoma, Norman is the state's third-largest city. It boasts the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History, and the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. In 2000, the art museum was given the Weitzenhoffer Collection, one of the most important collections of impressionist art, including works by Mary Cassatt, Vincent van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, and others.
