They were in the process of upgrading the lobby, which will look nice when completed. But the staff did a great job of providing good service despite the construction chaos.

The room was clean but otherwise I was not impressed with this hotel. The lobby is not inviting. Breakfast is only served until 9 am and you are just handed a brown bag with a microwave sandwich, a muffin, a piece of fruit, and a container of juice so I had no choices at all and ended up with a bag full of breakfast items I did not like. I prefer a warm environment, a bit of hospitality, and to make my own food choices so I would not stay here again.

Wasn’t clear that hotel was being renovated and breakfast area was closed. Our room was renovated but it was done as cheaply as possible. Toilet ran continuously unless handle was positioned properly. Sink spout was wobbly despite 2 pounds of caulk applied all around it to try to hold it in place.

Currently undergoing renovation and breakfast area not available, although they did hand out breakfast bags. Most of the staff was exceptional, one breakfast person was was not, but the other 10 staff (front desk, breakfast staff the prior day, housekeeping) were really great, friendly and helpful, which is why a 4 and not a 3. Room was clean and quiet, bed was ultra comfy and shower was nice!

There was mold in the shower and the staff was just as disgusting as the mold. The property was under construction although this was not advertised, or i would have never booked the room. The property manager took my money and refused to issue me a refund even though I left and did not stay in the room, and my health was at risk. I complained to the staff and they were rude, ignorant and distasteful. This hotel staff should be investigated.

The room wasn’t too bad. A few minor things- the toilet always ran. The lock on the door was mismatched so it didn’t line up straight. There wasn’t a second soar to use one in the shower and one for hand washing.

Last minute booking due to family in town. Comfortable room and bed. The shower was amazing. Glad it had a microwave/refrigerator. Some places don't have either one. I would definitely stay again!

I liked the fact that everything was so convenient. All stores, restaurants, gas stations etc were all about 7 mins away from the hotel. I also liked that the hotel was on the same road with other hotel properties. I didn't like the hotel itself because when I first got there the toilet didn't flush and the bathroom sink was clogged and would not drain. The refrigerator door would not close and there was hair in the shower. Like the bathroom had not been cleaned. We were told at first by the hotel supervisor that all rooms were booked and we could not change our room but after refusing to accept that for an answer a new room was found. The new room sink was still clogged, took a while to drain, the sofa in the room looked dirty and had stains all over it. The refrigerator, lamps and tables looked as if they need to be replaced. One of the lamp's shade had scratches all through it. There were names and letterings scratched in the table and in the lamp post. All of rooms need to be updated. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would not like to stay here again.

Hotel lobby is clean and smells like home! The staff was very nice and welcoming. The room had some minor cosmetic issues with it however it looks like an abundance of care was shown for the cleanliness of the room and that’s important for me. I am one to wipe down surfaces before I unpack and it was not needed. I normally stay at the Hampton inn…this is less expensive and nicer and my new go to hotel for Chesapeake!
