My stay was very relaxing. The hotel has a roof top that was really nice. I listened to some really good music playing nearby. There is a clothing store and pizza place attached. All in all i would stay again. The rate was really low compared to other hotels in this location.

Best I will say it meant my needs. The facility is bare bones and the room was small. There was no desk or table in the room. Also I had to go through several hallways to get to the room. I suppose I got what I paid for. Again I was there for only one night and it meant my needs. If I was staying for an extended period of time I would not stay there. There was a television in the room and the internet worked well and that was a positive. I may stay again if I am visiting for an overnight trip. Still the stay was positive.

It was clean and orderly but the house phone didn't work. The ac wasn't working so we couldn't contact the front desk without making a trip down to tell the clerk of the problem. This happened twice during our stay. No coffee pot. Minimal parking. Had to wait for someone to leave before getting a spot after returning from dinner. If you can handle that, the quality of the room was surprising for the price.

Nice clean place, room was in the back and quiet. Great value and convenient location a block from the beach. Lobby was a bit hard to find, and over flow parking is about 2 blocks away. Would stay again.

The staff was incredibly friendly top notch. The room was very small and the bed was to be a queen size bed and it was only a full size bed only inches from the wall which made it inconvenient to get in from that side of the bed. There was really no place to put your stuff in the bathroom or to even set up your suitcase. This room was suitable for one person not for two people. I can also say that the blinds need to be room darkening and the door to the room needs to be adjusted to not have light come in from the hall way.

Centrally located and one of the cleanest options
This place is a testament to why franchises stink. It's a solid stay for a fraction of the cost. As soon as we pulled the car in the tiny lot, we were acknowledged. Despite it being well in advance of check in, he got us settled in straight away. The room keys were a bit fiddly, but the maintenance staff tried to fix them immediately. The hotel is situated literally across the street from the Boardwalk. It's in the centre of the action. Unlike some of their massive competitors, guests here seem more mature. As a result, people were not noisy and it was easy to get a good night's rest. There are nice mosaic tile insets everywhere which gives this place a homey feel. More importantly, the cleaning staff truly cares. This is easily one of the cleanest places I've stayed in filthy Virginia Beach. I expect a movie theatre floor, I was delighted that wasn't the case here. I stayed in room 226, and the tile transition between the bathroom and bedroom was quite high, so be careful. That's part of an old building, but they can probably help this a bit. If you are a business traveler, be warned there was no desk in my room. The wifi was also slow, but stable. It would be child's play for them to go the extra mile. Better pillows, larger towels, a pillow top on the bed, possibly larger beds, and a pastry or cookie from a local bakery at reception would make them shine. The "far" parking lot is only a couple of blocks. I had no issues. I will definitely return here in future.

No coffee in lobby like advertised. Mold on wall in shower. Phone didn’t work, safe didn’t work. They sent another safe to room and set it on floor. Anyone could carry it away. Every light only had 1 bulb. No light in shower. Parking extremely limited but you could park in their other lot which is 3 blocks away with no cameras.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Refrigerator and air conditioner made an awful noise all night. Room was small and not clean. Felt very unsafe in this hotel. Cut our trip short because it was so bad.

Don’t plan on sleeping.
Pillows were plastic, very noisy. Mattress was horribly loud too. Ants were all in the room. Air conditioner was moist. Fridge was noisy. Something was noisy in the outer wall too. Window overlooked very loud and busy street corner where a marching band was performing. The place reeked of marijuana. This taught us to request to look at every hotel room from now on BEFORE BOOKING.

Room was smaller than expected. Needed more pillows. Got a one queen bed room and think it’s mainly singles that book the room, which it would be perfect for. Small shower and wish it was a hand held one to help get the sand out of everywhere. Between the street performers and some other guests was loud at night so if a light sleeper or go to sleep early could be an issue. Close to everything. Would stay here again

The overall stay was fine. There is a club next to the hotel and the music is loud and going until 2 am every night and a lot of people were out until then so the area is not quiet. This hotel was not really for me and my family but if you are the type to enjoy the noise, you may enjoy this hotel. Also, the beds were small. We had to ask for an extra blanket because you do not have the ability to control the air conditioning. The cleaning staff were nice and did make the beds and replace towels however, they did not sweep the floor. You could feel the sand on the floor. There were a few staff members who worked the front desk who were pleasant and always said hello but there were others who didn't bother to acknowledge you. The hotel is right next to the beach and that was very nice. I don't recommend this hotel for families with children because of the noise but it is suited for younger people who don't mind being in the middle of all the activities that are going on. We did check out 2 days early because this hotel was not comfortable for my family and I.

The air conditioner is in the window. It’s located next to a techno club that played music music until 3 in the morning we had to be on the road at 4am, I could hear the airplanes taking off. The room was supposed to sleep 4 but was too tiny. Couldn’t fit two ppl on one tiny bed. Worst hotel experience I have ever had but it was clean.
