« Great host -- good communication and responsiveness, and he contacted us to let us know we could check in early. House was clean and well provisioned. Lovely views and access to the beach. The queen sized beds in the two main bedrooms were very comfortable and the furniture in the living room is comfortable as well. House feels smaller than the advertised size, but not cramped. Steep stairs with all bedrooms upstairs, which might be a challenge for older guests. »

« We were very happy to find this huge house, with an elevator, for our family as we were evacuated from Cape Hatteras. However, even if comfortable, a lot of things were missing in the kitchen: small glasses for juice and kids, small plates for breakfast, light over the stove (in a microwave over the stove but not functioning so it was very dark when cooking mostly at night); a lot of pans where used and scratched. But it was well situated - short walk to the beach but with a dangerous road to...

« Our family had an incredible time! We brought our two kids and two dogs with us. The home was filled with items above and beyond our needs, even for pets. The kitchen had all major cooking items. We ordered seafood from a local market and had dinner at home most nights. There are some great restaurants close by though! If you forgot to bring any beach items, no worries, because this home had extra toys and beach chairs. The backyard had a great space for washing sand off and laying towels to...

« We enjoyed this amazing house and property. We got to explore the neighborhood walk across the street to one of the main beaches. Also went to the Virginia zoo and a dolphin sightseeing adventure. We got to eat at the ocean view pier restaurant and enjoy our own cooking of meals. It was a fantastic vacation and we will definitely be back. Thank you for everything. »

« Communication was fantastic . Questions answers before and after booking! The space was fantastic. They are making improvements to the property, everything isn’t pristine but it was great for us. The linen was new and some of the matresses too. We went off season so didn’t spent too much time outdoors but the beach access is a block away.Quiet neighbors, friendly people. Even saw a cat come passing through, lol. We came by RV so we used most of our own cookware. The kitchen appeared to be...

« Was here from SC for work. Stayed here for 11 days. No issues at all. The neighborhood was not what I expected. How ever it was quite at night with no issues. Many options to eat at without driving to far. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and the kitchen has pretty much everything you need. Would definitely stay here again. Was here from Dec 1-11\. It was very cold and it snowed. Can’t wait to come back for the summer. »
