Kitchen was very well-stocked, beds were comfortable and there was lots of space for our family of four and medium sized dog. The woodburning fireplace and high ceilings created a lovely atmosphere for relaxing. The location is perfect to feel like you're in the mountains but only minutes from Nordegg. Booked a last-minute trip to Nordegg and the Homesteader cabin at Coliseum Mountain Resort. The cabin was clean and well-equiped with everything you would think you would need for a stay in the woods. The location was beautiful, quiet and cozy. There was plenty to do especially for the kids who didn't ask once for screen time and never mentioned once that they were bored. Kurt was so friendly and welcoming.
