Welcome to Spegill – a mirror cabin that blends seamlessly into the mountain landscape, 1000 meters above sea level. Here, the boundaries between indoors and outdoors disappear, and nature becomes part of the experience. The view towards the majestic Skogshorn and the Hemsedal mountains in the distance will take your breath away, while the architecture and tranquility offer a memorable escape – a place for reflection, presence, and a touch of magic.  
  
The space  
Spegill is a unique mirror cabin that reflects the surrounding landscape – and lets nature reflect back on you. You’ll stay in complete silence, surrounded by mountains and open sky. The cabin almost disappears into the scenery, giving a feeling of being one with nature.  
  
With panoramic windows framing the mountain views, Spegill is something truly different – not your typical mountain cabin.  
  
✨ The cabin is partly powered by solar panels and is self-sufficient much of the year – an eco-friendly solution that lets you enjoy nature with a clear conscience, without compromising on comfort. ✨

☆ THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA ☆  
Aurdalsåsen, beautifully located in Valdres, is an ideal destination for those who appreciate clean mountain air, breathtaking scenery and peaceful surroundings. The area offers a wide range of activities all year round – whether you’re seeking outdoor adventures or quiet days in nature.  
  
Year-round activities:  
✹ Hiking and biking – A varied network of marked trails and old mountain roads offers great routes for both short walks and longer trips.  
✹ Cross-country skiing – Well-groomed trails start right by the cabin, leading deep into the mountains, with routes all the way to Beitostølen.  
✹ Alpine skiing – Valdres Alpinsenter is just 5 minutes away. You’ll find slopes for all levels, from beginners to experienced skiers. (Discount on lift passes available through us.)  
✹ Fishing – Several mountain lakes nearby offer excellent fishing, from peaceful summer evenings by the water to exciting autumn trips.  
✹ Golf – One of Norway’s most scenic golf courses lies just 8 km away, beautifully situated by the lake.  
  
In winter, enjoy lunch or a drink at Koja Panorama, located at 1060 meters above sea level near the top lift station. It’s the perfect place for a break between runs, with a stunning mountain view.  
  
The cabin is also a great base for exploring Valdresflye, a spectacular mountain road about one hour away. Here you’ll find panoramic views from over 1300 meters altitude, surrounded by majestic scenery and endless hiking possibilities.  
  
Close by lies Jotunheimen National Park, Norway’s mountain paradise. It’s home to famous peaks like Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen (the highest mountain in Northern Europe) and Glittertind. The area is ideal for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and nature experiences year-round.
