"This was an emergency trip that was booked at the last minute on New Year’s Eve for a stay starting the next day. We did have some communication issues to begin with, but the owner was out of town and this was a very short turnaround. Once we got connected, things went smoothly. We did have a couple maintenance issues during our stay that were addressed quickly. The location was perfect as it put us very close to an ill family member."

"pros: good location house is exactly as seen in photos kitchen is a great size cons: the toilet in the family washroom didn't work so well ( got stuck on flushing ) ice maker on the fridge was not functioning overall it was a good stay I suggest something be done to the back yard to make it feel homey and usable"

"The house was beautiful, the owner was helpful, everything was clean & the location was quiet, peaceful & perfect for what we were looking for. However, the pictures on this listing are misleading. There isn't really a beach. The pier leads to a 6 ft drop off to a pile of sharp rocks the waves crash against. It’s not very safe trekking out into the water ( we got some cuts trying). I know this is not the owners fault but we we’re disappointed and felt mislead when we saw what was out there vs....

"The property met the expectations from the pictures and was a great spot to stay if you need to be in this area. The interior was nicely decorated in a beach theme. The kitchen has appropriate appliances and supplies. The property is a typical "Old Florida" type of place. It's not huge and the bathroom is small. This is how houses were built and people lived before everything was supersized. That being said, it was perfect for the wife and I. I wouldn't bring 4+ people as it would be too...

"Great house but paid more than 800 for pool heat for 4 days and never heated up. Beautiful media room but instructions on how to use the TV would have been helpful. Very well stocked and great location. Hopefully a heated pool monies will be refunded."

"This property was a perfect getaway. You are literally right on a private beach. Nokomis beach is right down the road or beach. North jetty for fishing. We saw manatees swimming right down the beach. This was an amazing stay in an amazingly beautiful area of south Florida. I cant wait to return. My only regret is not staying here longer."
