Custom built private cabin. Cabin offers a full kitchen, gas log fireplace, a large covered deck over looking the James River (right below) with furniture, one bedroom with king bed, loft with 2 full sized futons. Bathroom features a large shower with multiple shower heads. The cabin is a perfect get away for 2, yet will comfortably sleep a famly of 4\. Plenty entertainment close by, food delivery right to the door, steps away from complete seclusion. Loved the porch and rocking chairs. Enjoyed the walking path next to the creek. Kitchen supplied everything that we needed. Comfy bed and pillows. The shower is spacious, two shower heads plus a handheld and lots of hot water. Owner added 2 chairs on the main level (not on the pictures) which is a plus. Lots of restaurants and breweries within 10-15 minute drive. We visited the Wilson Creek Civil War National Park, includes museum, movie and battle sites. Spent about 6 hours at park. The cabin will sleep 8 people, but it would be tight. Didn't think there were enough kitchen plates, bowls, silverware, etc. if there were going to be 8 people staying. The front deck looking over the river was large and had a hammock, 2 rockers and a patio table with chairs. It was very nice. Spent a lot of time on the deck. The property is located right between Springfield and Nixa. Tracy was awesome to communicate with. We have a family of 6 and the cabin fit us perfectly. Exploring the property was one of the best parts of the trip. Finding caves and messing around by the river made for an awesome Christmas Day!
