The Blue Ox Guest House on Gull is a 3,250 Sq Ft Five Bed Five Bath home with two owners' suites! This is the perfect home to host multiple families or your large group gathering.  With living space spread over three levels allows plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The home is part of the Causeway on Gull Resort and is stocked with plenty of bikes, balls, and racquets to keep the kids busy and you're only steps away from the ever-popular Zorbaz on Gull. The resort has indoor and outdoor pools with hot tubs and a sauna. The home rental includes a dedicated boat slip on Gull Lake. There is plenty of room for trailer parking making it easy to bring your boat or if you prefer, rent a boat. There are two boat rental businesses right on-site with YourBoatClub and LakeFunRentals, and three other options only 5 min up the road in Nisswa. You can get anything from a fishing boat or performance tri-toon to jet skis. Either way, you will have a slip at the Causeway marina right next to Zorbaz for the duration of your stay at no added cost. This home is our family cabin, and we have gone the extra mile fully stocking it with all the comforts of home.  The kitchen is loaded; just bring your ingredients and skills.  There are games and puzzles for evenings and rainy days to entertain everyone. Six Smart TVs so you can access all your favorite shows. The home is set in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes area. Check out our distances to popular spots...

In addition to the fully stocked kitchen and games, the unit includes a gas fireplace, central air-conditioning, washer/dryer, deck/patio, natural gas grill, fresh linens, bath products, hairdryers, and plenty of fresh towels. There is no reason to get bored with access to the indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, sauna, tennis courts, basketball, and pickleball courts, sand volleyball, multiple game and arcade rooms with ping pong, foosball at the lakeside clubhouse.  
The Brainard Lakes Area is loaded with activities and attractions as well. The best place to get up to speed on all the activities is on the ExploreBrainerdLakes website.  Golf Courses, Mountain Biking, Off-Road Adventures, Fishing, Hunting, Golf, Racing, Spas… waterparks, Brainerd International Raceway, and shopping in Nisswa/Pequot Lakes/Crosslake.  
Booking Process: Prices and cancelation terms vary between booking methods. Booking directly through our website at SmothersVacations may have different pricing and cancellation policies than VRBO.  
CHECK-IN: Before arrival, you will enter guest info into the online check-in form, and we will email you your front door code, wi-fi info, etc. That's it! When it's time for your trip, you won't waste valuable vacation time at the front desk waiting to check in. Just hit the road and head straight to the house. Availability is kept current on all sites, and the prices are as listed. Prices vary by date and local demand. If you are unable to book what looks like open dates, it may have a minimum night stay for that time frame (holiday weekends, high-demand dates, etc)  
Rental Rules: No Pets Allowed, Minimum Primary Renters Age 25, 2 Night Minimum Stay, Batchelor/Bachelorette party groups are welcome but are reminded that this is a family resort with quiet hours after 10 pm so for your late night activities, plan to take the party down to Zorbaz only a 2 min walk away and open til 2 am every night. I booked this property for a girls weekend and it was perfect. The house was spacious and beautiful. The common area was big enough for all the women to hang out. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and pool. I definitely recommend!

This was the perfect home to have all of our family get together under one roof, the number of bathrooms, the number of bedrooms and the pullout sofa couch options were stellar. Loved having access to the indoor pool and hot tub and game room. There was plenty enough silverware and plates. We all truly enjoyed our time very very much!

#### Nice Condo, resort just ok

Condo was very nice, resort was adequate. No towels at pools and grounds were tired and disappointing. Would give 5 stars for condo except towels and cleanliness would need to improve. We swept right away and had to wash some of the clean dishes. Towels and washcloths were so thin and small. There were extra in closet which we needed and also washed a couple loads.

Our entire family had a fabulous week in Nisswa! The beautifully decorated home was in the perfect location for varied activities. The host responded promptly to calls/texts regarding supplies. We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was very well appointed and had nearly all of the furnishings and utensils one would want or need during a four night stay. It fit the needs of our family of 7 adults and 5 children under the age of 7 quite well. The only disappointment was the lack of active WIFI and/or television services which we understand are in the process of being secured for the property.

We had a very overall enjoyable stay. The property was very nicely laid out and very user friendly. Our only negatives would be that the property did not have wi-fi access OR any T.V./Cable/Satellite signal. Because of the lack of wi-fi, the smart t.v. features were also unavaillable for us. Given that it was the middle of November and colder weather outside, it would have been a nicer stay if those features had been available. Otherwise it was great!

#### Beautiful House

We were all pleasantly surprised, I knew this would be a nice place from what I've heard from other's who have visited the resort but the home was so nice. The ONLY downfall is the sugar ants! They seem to be everywhere at the resort, which is understandable but we just had to be careful because ants were always crawling on the kitchen counters and found them crawing on me occasionally. Not sure if there's some sort of mitigation to help solve that problem but everything else was wonderful!

#### END OF SUMMER VACATION

We were scheduled to be at a relative’s high school graduation party the last weekend in July in Minneapolis. One of our five children found the Gull Lake #175 listing. It was perfect! We had three generations of our family on the trip with grandchildren ranging from almost 15 years to 8 weeks old. They each had their own space and yet we also had space for family time. Everything was within minutes—we truly spent time together, relaxing, and enjoying our experience.
