Staff were friendly and helpful, and buffet breakfast hit the spot each morning. Onsen was lovely after a day on the slopes too! We loved the view from our room, watching people ski down the Family Run. It was cold. No idea whether it was just my room or the central air-conditioning/heater is down. The in-room heater was not sufficient to warm the room. Asked for different room but they said they are full booked. Booked this property in July, so I was rather disappointed to be given such room. Front counter gave us a portable heater. That did the work but that thing was constantly in the middle of the room so that we don’t sleep cold. The onsen toilet is yucks. It reeks of urine smell. It’s horrible. And no slippers provided for the toilet….whenever I step into the toilet, it feels like I am stepping on pee stain then I walk all around the changing room. The hotel need to clean the toilet hourly or if not allow the patrons to wear slippers in the changing room. Oh and they don’t provide housekeeping daily. It’s every 3 days. The plus point is, this hotel is near amenities and food.
