We’ll definitely come back here the next time we visit Niseko. It’s not a huge resort-style hotel, but the staff are incredibly kind and polite. Our room was very spacious and clean, with a beautiful traditional Japanese-style area. We loved the hot tea provided in the room and were able to relax completely. The hot spring facilities, including the outdoor bath and the sauna, were absolutely amazing and honestly left us speechless! There is a convenient bus that runs around the Niseko area, and this hotel is the last stop on the route. Thanks to that, we were able to visit several different mountains easily and still get back to the hotel without any trouble. The hotel was probably top notch 30 years ago, but now feels a bit worn. Common areas are not inviting to hang out socialising with your own group or other guests. The onsen is great though! The restaurants look and feel as school cantines. But the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, but barely spoke English even though at least 70% of the guests were international. So the place was relatively quiet and not many other guests around. Service staffs at the reception and restaurants were helpful and courteous even though they didn't speak much English. Our traditional Japanese room was clean and beautiful. Yukata was provided in room and could be worn around the hotel. We opened the window for better ventilation as cool temperature was refreshing. The only gripe was that the window does not have grille, which can be a little dangerous with young child around. Since this hotel also has onsen facilities, we got to experience Japanese bath and hot spring water. Breakfast and dinner were included in our package. Dinner was great with wide variety of food. The stay was literally perfect, rooms were huge and clean, 10/10, can’t believe it is a 3 star hotel? (Correct me if I’m wrong), in my opinion the service and rooms were at least 4-4.5 star standard. The dinner was nice, the onsen was nice too but they let ppl do day visit onsen so it can be a bit packed, it was the only part I didn’t like.
