This one-of-a-kind retreat blends vintage character with cozy, updated living—perfect for couples, families, or small groups seeking a relaxing getaway. Sleeps 6 comfortably with two spacious bedrooms, cozy furnishings, and an inviting living space that nods to its old-school roots. All-season sunroom is perfect for morning coffee, reading, or winding down after a day exploring Southwest Michigan. Fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, streaming-ready TV, and all the essentials to make your stay easy and enjoyable. This is a standalone guesthouse on a larger property, offering privacy and a true escape—though it shares a driveway with the main home. Other things to note No smoking or vaping, no illegal activity, we will not rent to proms, school groups or functions regardless of chaperone. Tampering with smoke detectors or security system will result in a $250 fine. Minimum age to book our listing is 24. No loud parties. No more than 6 guests can stay overnight at any time. Niles, MI locals are not allowed to place a booking without pre-approval. This is to prevent locals from using our property as a party house. The premises are equipped with exterior security cameras. Cameras are not monitored for guest safety in any way and should not be relied on by guests for personal security or security of their belongings. Cameras may be used to enforce and verify compliance with rental policies. This quaint little school house, turned 2 bedroom 2 bath house was a joy to stay at. It was so quite and peacefully out there. It's only a 20 minute drive to ND and 4 miles from a grocery store. We loved the nature path walk way, the rustic, yet modern finishes, and all the attention to details. They even had eye masks to sleep with that block out any light!The host was super attentive and checked in on us daily to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. It is close to Three Oaks and South Bend (about 20 mins from each). We had a good time in Three Oaks. Breakfast at Viola was amazing! We toured the Journeyman Distillery and then had dinner at Staymakers sitting outside on the deck. We also made a short day trip to Warren Dunes State Park which was beautiful! The location of this property was convenient and also very private. The house has spacious bedrooms and living room. We stayed with two other adults and having a bathroom for each bedroom was very nice. The decor has all been updated and most things seemed brand new. It appears to be newly renovated. Everything was very clean. There were plenty of supplies (ie coffee and espresso maker, dishwasher, soap/shampoo, etc) to make our stay comfortable and convenient.
