"The classic The Chicago Hotel Collection Ambassador Gold Coast is an excellent hotel. Its super posh neighborhood in the Gold Coast makes it a terrific place to settle to see the best of Chicago. There is a parking lot across the street with an all in $58 a nite price tag. Or, if you'd rather be super posh, they have valet service. The room was clean and quiet, however I wasn't a fan of the extra firm mattress or the quartet of elongated puff pillows.
Still, I would recommend the hotel based on...

"Great location? Loved the chic bohemian bar and lounge area. The front desk was very helpful. The bunk beds were so fun. Both adults and kids loved them. The rooms are small but that adds to the charm. Enjoyed the bathroom set up. "

"My family and I loved the friendly/helpful staff. The hotel was convient to a lot of tourist spots and great restaurants. Public transportation is also available right by the hotel for anything a little further out. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Stayed here with my granddaughter for our Chicago fun day. The location was perfect for shopping and eating. Lots of good inexpensive parking nearby. The staff was top notch. The hotel feels updated and rooms are great with good views. Bar area is very nice also and lots of casual seating while waiting and lounging. Would definitely stay here again. Bonus for our trip was an indoor pool. "
