Hyatt Place Newark/Silicon Valley
10/10 Excellent
"Great rooms, rooms are clean and seem brand new. Great service. "
"Stayed at this location as I had a funeral to attend down the road at St. Josephs which is next door to the Mission. It is a 10 min walk, 15 with my suitcase, but absolutely accessable. Anyway, the staff at Mission Peak Lodge were incredible. Friendly. I assume kind of family owned. That is the vibe you get with the rooms also. Big rooms with balcony. Full refrigerator! If I were staying longer that would have been a great way to eat for less. Everything was clean and comfortable. Reminded me of the 90s with the decor, but that fine. It was comfortable. If I am in the area in the future I will stay again."
Charming Fremont Guest Suite with Lush Backyard Oasis and Fruit Trees!
10/10 Excellent
"The stay was very quiet and peaceful with the only exception of fresh avocados falling onto the roof once in a while, LOL. We enjoyed coffee and mimosas in their backyard serenity. Check-in was super convenient and overall place was nicely done, including games and darts for kids. In our situation, there was an unusual circumstance that was incontrollable by anyone and the owners were more than willing to accommodate and quick to respond. My only slight at our stay was that I am older and the mattress was softer than I liked, otherwise, great place for the price."
"My family stay was simply wonderful!! Enjoying the breathtaking Beautiful garden leaving you peaceful and serene. The host was great offering any assistance if needed and none was needed the house was clean comfortable and beautifully decorated."
Comfortable 3Br home in Fremont with AC/Free Parking
4/10 Poor
"The building is a spacious home in a good quiet neighbourhood, but has not been maintained to fix cosmetic defects, and is not well cleaned. The walls are dirty with many stains and dust, there are cobwebs and spiders inside, and the bathroom and shower were so bad we contacted the host. The cleaner returned, but does a terrible job; so there was no noticeable improvement even after they were done 'cleaning' There was a smell of marijuana when we arrived, and it only slightly dissipated during our three night stay. Luckily nobody in our party is allergic. The host was pretty responsive to our messages, but we were really unimpressed with the state of the place. It's a shame because the rooms are spacious and the location is perfect for a quiet stay. With a good deep clean and some paint it wouldn't be hard ro make it into a great rental. On the second night, guests who had booked an adjacent unit tried to gain entry to our side and frightened our friend. Clear signage could have prevented this.Overall, I would not recommend this place in its current state. But the bed linens were clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet."
Beautiful family hotel,1 room:5-10minutes walk to market, restaurant,Bart station
2/10 Terrible
"basically a hotel and house smells like cigarettes. lady started changing the sheets on the bed when we walked in 2 hours past check in, which should’ve been done PRIOR to the guest arriving. took like 5 minutes to answer the door even though she lives there as well, so there’s no reason to take so long especially if we called beforehand to let her know we were on our way. didn’t even have enough beds to accommodate me and my friend even though i said i put 2 ADULTS and sent a message during the booking process to let her know and yet she said she didn’t know and gave my extra bed to customers in the separate room that checked in 2 days prior to our arrival. i definitely don’t recommend this place if you wanna save your time. Cozy 4 bedroom in Fremont with free Parking & WiFI & Great location
4/10 Poor
"on a positive the decor was nice and although platform beds they were comfortable and sheets and pillows comfortable, had potential to be cozy, just could have been cleaner. When we got there toward dark, leaves and garbage in front of house, should have taken pictures, before I cleaner up garbage, but husband older and long drive needed to get him inside and our suitcases and groceries. House was not described properly, Realized when there the "Studio and 2nd bathroom was a converted garage and didn't know of separate entrance until instructions to get in were given. It was dark when going in no lightswitch by door and due to the deep step - should let people know, nearly fell, it is a really hazard. had to do through the whole room to find the light switch. There are high steps to bathroom and due to my husband and although best for him to have bathroom near he could have seriously hurt himself on the stairs at night.. So we decided although inconvenient to have to share and use a bathroom down hall from our room we did. Other family that we let use the studio room came the next night and that is when we discover not shower head we text the owner he reply that we could use in meantime and then had "his partner: come to blow the leaves and look at shower on Thanksgiving. totally disrespectful. This should have been done BEFORE our arrival. Pics and description misleading and studio had to be without permits, very unsafe. We are due some refund"
