Villefranche sur Mer, is a small fishing village with a medieval, car-free town center, which is incredibly picturesque with small steep stairs in Provencal - Italian style and many small cozy restaurants.
The city has a very pleasant climate all year round. As it is sheltered by the mountains, it has a particularly warm winter climate and 300 sunny days a year.
From the property there is very easy access to public transport to the airport and to all the towns along the coast (bus & train). Nice 4.5 km, Monaco 9 km, airport 13 km.
Bus operation: 5 times an hour during the daytime. Trains: 1-2 departures per hour. One can easily get by without a car.
