Great room that exceeded my expectations. The bathroom was new and modern. The aircon was a lifesaver as it was quite hot. There was also a balcony. Receptionists were very nice and let us store our luggage. Everything was in walking distance and the train station is incredibly close.

Nice and central, only a couple of minutes walk from the main Juan Medicine Avenue, and ten minutes walk to catch the tram to Nice airport (25 mins to Old Town). Hotel was clean and tidy so no complaints and excellent value for centre of Nice. My only one gripe was check-in was a bit slow, but that's all.

The bedroom is good but the bathroom is so small if you are a big person it would be too tight. The bathroom ceiling has molds. Shower head has black dirt or molds.

We booked this hotel on location to train station. It had that. Small rooms terrible beds and pillows, no kleenex or water glasses in the room. It was F1 weekend in Monaco so any room this close is probably a blessing but at any other time I would not stay here. One more plus the A/C worked fine.

We really enjoyed this hotel and we will definitely use it again. Staff was very accommodating and friendly, we only had an issue where I was called mid travel to Nice and I was told there was a problem with my card( my card was just fine) and if I did not pay 1 night over the phone( my booking was a book now pay at the hotel deal), they would cancel the reservation which I felt was harsh!. Once arrived though, everything was sorted out and the night receptionist was great . The cleanliness was perfect and our room was spotless every day. Located very close to the train station and the seafront is not far at all. Another minor thing to mention , I believe the forgot to give us the air conditioning remote control( ask for it if you stay here)and it was extremely hot on the days we stayed , but we just opened the window. We highly recommend this hotel. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cet hôtel et nous l'utiliserons certainement à nouveau. Le personnel était très arrangeant et sympathique, nous n'avons eu qu'un problème où j'ai été appelé au milieu du voyage à Nice et on m'a dit qu'il y avait un problème avec ma carte (ma carte était très bien) et si je n'avais pas payé 1 nuit par téléphone ( ma réservation était un livre maintenant payé à l'hôtel), ils annuleraient la réservation, ce qui m'a semblé dur!. Une fois arrivé, tout a été réglé et le réceptionniste de nuit était super. La propreté était parfaite et notre chambre était impeccable tous les jours.

The hallways & common areas smelled like gasoline. The entrance to the hotel has a peculiar door that is confusing to open. While I & others knocked on the glass door trying to get in, the reception clerk could see us but made no effort to let us in until we had discovered how to get the door open ourselves. I watched this same thing happen with multiple guests.

Staff and the cleanliness of the hotel was great but the walls are paper thin. Hearing next doors conversations and baby crying was awful we didn’t really get any sleep.

Nice hotel
It’s a nice hotel friendly and helpful staff and rooms cleaned every day. Close to the train station and the tram stop so easy access to everything. Few tramps in the area but not a worry as they don’t bother u. Overall a great stay.

Ideal for a couple of nights.
Comfortable, easy to find (near to Train station & bus route to the Airport) , pleasant staff. Perfect for a couple of nights getaway. Be aware there's no tea/coffee facilities in the room, breakfast is OK, but there's decent Cafes near by for Petit Dejeuner. Also, you have to return your key each time you leave the premises.

Excellent for the price. Staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom looked brand new and air con worked perfectly. My only slight criticism is there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but that was not a big deal for us.

Overall fine
Convenient location, multilingual staff for check-in helpful, very spacious room. It would be nice to have a little more security, as the luggage storage was basically just the lobby and we had to give our hotel keycard back every time we left and tell our number to get back in but really without much verification of who we were. Not a bad experience for 2 nights sharing with 2 family members but would probably choose elsewhere if I went back to Nice.

Couldn’t wait to get out of the place. Terrible
I would never recommend this place to anyone. It smells of cigarettes, beds had holes in covers, thin mattresses, towels old and hard, no information, no parking, closest was railway station, 18€ for the night. Customer service very unpleasant. Bathroom nice, bit took 5 min to warm up.

Great location. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Area looks a little scary at night time. However, we went out and nothing happened. Wish parking lot was onsite or closer. Rooms and hallway Can use a new carpet. Overall it is a great location to spend the night an d go out during the day. Staff was very helpful. Oliver and the lady were very pleasant and helpful. Thank you!

Great budget hotel in convenient location
Very conveniently located next to Nice Ville train station which is good if you are looking to make day trips using the train. Short walk to the Rue de Jean Medecin shopping area and about 10 to 15 minutes to the Promenade des Anglaise. Staff is friendly and very helpful with information.

Hotel with perfect location, stones throw to either the train station or the centre of Nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our only issue was how teeny tiny our shower was, had a hard time with that but other than that great value for money

Rooms without AC two nights in a row
We stayed for two nights in the attic room with 4 beds, and we were very disappointed with the stay. The first night we arrived, we were told that the air conditioning was broken and they were going to fix it the next morning. They left the windows open and gave us two fans. I asked to be moved to a different room and the staff said it was a problem for the entire hotel so we had to remain in the room. The same thing happened the next day. The air conditioning did not get fixed and the front desk said it was a problem for the entire hotel. But we felt the AC near the elevator/lobby area. The staff came in to make our beds during the day but didn't change any of our towels. I had to call to request fresh towels and complained about the air conditioning. We slept with the windows open again and all four of us were bitten by mosquitoes several times during our two-night stay.

Near the Main train station - shopping
We spent 3 nights in Nice. We were happy with this hotel. Its near the train station, just off the main pedestrian / tram line to the beach and etc. Also its surrounded by traditional French city neighborhoods... which afford grocery, water, wine, snacks, dinner, and especially bakeries. Neighborhood seems to be one of the cheaper ones in Nice - e.g. train station - and has some immigrant grocers and swarma - pita restaurants that seem busy.. but we never felt unsafe. Hotel staff was EXCELLENT. Consistently good. The gentleman in the evenings was very helpful and open to helping us with our French (my wife speaks none), which we appreciated. Always approachable welcoming and helpful and great suggestions. Hotel itself was nice. The rooms are sort of modern but the bed was very comfortable for all... we had a tripple. Even had some English language tv.. a few news stations. We were able to store our bags in the lobby as our flight was a morning arrival before rooms were ready. Honestly we NEVER stay in prime beach front locations, preferring the price and neighborhood feel to touristy feel. Its a bit of a walk to the beach or old town but enjoyable and flat/easy. We like to walk.
