Excellent experience. The location was perfect. We walked to Old town and the beach. Only ate in the hotel once. The food in Nice is fantastic.

Nice

Posted 20-May-2016
Pros: Mostly the staff and the decor of the hotel is like a museum
Location: Location is best - everything is walking distance and this hotel is in the best part of Nice.
Initially we were given a junior suite which was not to the standards we saw on the expedia website. The next morning we went downstairs and spoke about our concern and without a blink of an eye they gave us one their best junior suites and a bottle of champagne.

Better places to stay for the amount of money

Posted 20-May-2016
Hotel looked nice and staff were proffesional, however beds were extremely hard. The shower did not drain well. We called to have it fixed twice and it still did not work properly. They charge 10 euro for a bucket of ice. Do not take anything out of the minibar without checking the price as it is expensive (8 euro for a bottle of water). They did not clean the room when we asked even after we returned several hours later. There are better places to stay for the amount of money spent.

海に面した部屋からは、朝、夕、夜と変わる海の色を楽しむことができました。クラシックな室内の装飾は、宮殿にいるような雰囲気を味わわせてくれます。

Upeat näkymät ja loistava palvelu. Ihana kokemus!

Posted 4-May-2016
Valet parking must, varsinkin kun se kuului huoneeseen (junior suite with sea view). Mahtava henkilökunta!

the Best hotel in Nice?

Posted 3-May-2016
Pros: The staff were excellent
Cons: providing coffee crème was not all foam.
Location: location to the west of Nice makes this hotel very accessible to the airport but close enough to all the main attractions that Nice offers
There was very little that one can criticise about this hotel. The staff were very attentive and all spoke excellent English. The food was first class in both the Michelin starred restaurant and La Rotonde.

History and Fine arts, 5 stars service

Posted 28-Mar-2016
Location: Very Central on the Promenade des Anglais. Everything is at walking distance.
I visited this hôtel for a weekend. If you like history and vintage this 5 stars hotel will please you. My room was renovated and had all the amenities of a 5 stars hotel with everything working fine. Very nice vintage decor and furnitures with fine painting. Beds are very confortable with very nice linens and pillows. Staff are dressed in the vintage costume and apply the french courtoisie. When you stay in front of the hotel or on the restaurant terrasse you will see many tourism take picture of this historic hotel as it's unique. Staying at the Negesco is a unique destination in the tradition of Nice. Very nice experience.

renovation in next room while our stay

Posted 27-Mar-2016
It's a very nice hotel but not managed like a 5* hotel they were doing renovation next to our room and banging on the floor, moving furniture from 7 am for 2 days and wouldn't stop till I went to reception and asked them firmly they had wall hang dispensers for shampoo and etc and they were really bad and since they didn't had a name on them so you could be sure that they're low quality also no cotton pad or Qtips I called room service for it every time then I went to a pharmacy and bought a pack. But the hotel is nice and the staff our friendly and fast room service
