Going the extra Kilometre

Posted 11-Dec-2017
Helpful staff was the highlight of this stay. Michael at the front desk went out of his way to call our tour company in the morning to ask if they could drop us off at the airport at the conclusion of our trip (good thing, too, as we found out the tour company messed up on the pickup location and were expecting to pick us up at the train station!) Other little things he did with a smile and without hesitation included heating up our food using their microwave late at night, and suggesting that I take a hot drink to go just before I was about to leave on the tour (the cappuccino was splendid). Location is great and close to the main hub. The old-school lift was a lot of fun. Breakfast items were well-stocked and pretty yummy (hard-boiled eggs, croissants, cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee, sausages. Wouldn't hesitate to come back to this place.

couple's weekend getaway

Posted 1-Nov-2017 on Ebookers
Pros: Location and friendly staff
Cons: breakfast room is tiny
Location: lots of shopping in the neighbourhood, park and old town very close by
We stayed in the hotel for three nights over a weekend, room was nice and cozy. Breakfast was decent, even though the breakfast room was tiny and crowded everything worked well. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Location of this hotel is wonderful, close to shopping areas and right next to the old town, I definitely recommend!

Excellent Hotel-Great Location

Posted 27-Oct-2017
We enjoyed our stay at Le Seize. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to all forms of transportation, including easy walking to everything. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Nice

Good location and staffs but terrible cleaning

Posted 25-Oct-2017
It is so near by the center village (tram and bus station) and beach and ok to walk to the train station. And the room including bathroom is small but good. Moreover the staffs are so helpful and kind. But just one thing, the cleaning conditions are so terrible. I have a strong doubt if they clean the room or not while we are out. So many hairs on the blanket of bed and the floor of the bathroom.... They didn't even take away a can of beer at the corner.Terrilble... Except this the hotel is overally recommendable.

Nice is nice

Posted 24-Oct-2017 on Hotels
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. As other travelers notes, the rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are tiny, really tiny! The location is good within 3 blocks of the city center (Massana) and 5-6 block walk from the beach. The staff are all very nice and helpful. One note: unless included in your rate, skip the breakfast offered by hotel, or try it once before prepaying for it for your entire stay. It is okay, but for the same money, you can get breakfast at any cafe. Overall, for the price of the room, there are probably other options available.

Nice but could be better

Posted 24-Oct-2017 on Hotels
The staff were great - friendly & helpful. Room tastefully decorated. Great location. No English specking TV stations Unfortunately positioning of the toilet in our bathroom made it best suited for "advanced" yoga professionals. Be early for breakfast to avoid the heat. Fridge & Kettle very useful.

Very good position.

Small standard room. Double bed..single occupancy. These rooms are over looking busy road. So very noisy. Ear plugs necessary. Walls very thin. Offered another room for, 20 euros. Declined. Will not be going back

Comfortable, close to the beach and old town

Posted 21-Oct-2017
Pros: Location, comfort for a short stay, staff
Cons: Bathroom/shower condition and perhaps newer soundproof balcony doors.
Location: Bakery on Rue Gioffredo is great, Jardin Alber I park is nice, just explore the streets and go for a walk in old town at night
I spent 3 nights at the hotel in middle of October. Overall I was happy. There was nothing major to complain about. Positives: room was clean and overall comfortable, decorated pleasantly, air conditioning worked fine, there was a small fridge in the room, hotel is close to the promenade and the old part of town, only 1 stop away from the train station, there are bars and restuarants in the nearby streets and there is a lovely bakery around the corner, the staff were friendly advising me about local travelling and the retro lift is cool. I did not have breakfast at the hotel so I cannot comment on that. Negatives: although the bathroom was clean there were a few signs of wear and tear (few rust and mould spots), the shower hose was slightly damaged, the doors on the balcony are not very soundproof and neither are the walls but I was lucky to have quiet neighbours, there is not much storage and the wardrobe was tiny, the room (standard double room) was a little smaller than expected but would be OK for 2 people just don't bring large suitcases. Be aware of mosquitos! I was kept awake by a few one night after leaving the balcony open all day.
