Bright, calm and perfectly equipped, it welcomes you in an ideal setting to discover Nice as a couple. Accessible by a few steps, this apartment is located in a traditional building only 200 metres from the sea and in the immediate vicinity of all the attractions of the city centre. YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD This studio benefits from a privileged location in the heart of Nice, just 600 metres from Masséna Square, the beating heart of the city, and in direct proximity to Vieux-Nice, Cours Saleya and its colourful markets. A Monoprix is located just 600 metres away, and Nice Thiers SNCF station is 1.7 km away. Nice Côte d'Azur airport is 6.9 km away. The famous Acchiardo restaurant awaits you 10 metres away, and the "Cathédrale Vieille Ville" tram stop is accessible 350 metres away. All stations pass through Fabron, Grosso & Gambetta for the Flowers district, Alsace Lorraine and Jean Médecin for the Musicians, Gold or Masséna districts, the Pin district and finally the Port district. A connection with line 1 is made at JEAN MÉDECIN Station. A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station. Taxis: The most direct: They are present at each terminal 1 & 2\. 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is an official fixed rate that must be applied + the baggage rate. Make sure to inform yourself well and specify it to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card. The bus: The shuttle to the airport (bus 98) is both cheap and convenient. It runs every twenty minutes during the day and will drop you off in the city centre, near Nice Thiers Station. I chose to arrive by train The tram - The best market: To get to line n°1, exit to the left of the station and go down towards Thiers Avenue until Jean Médecin Avenue (indicated by signage). Trams pass every five minutes and the ticket has a low cost. Line 1 serves the centre and the two northern districts of Nice. A connection with line 3 is made at GRAND ARÉNAS Station. A connection with Line 2 (Airport / Port) is at JEAN MÉDECIN Station. Taxis: The most direct: 15 minutes will be enough to drop you directly at your apartment. There is no fixed package. The driver must mandatorily activate his meter before leaving the station. You will only have to pay the fare displayed upon arrival + the luggage rate. Make sure to inquire and specify this to the driver; he cannot refuse it. Normally, the cost is payable by credit card. Do not forget to have the complete address ready to be given to the driver. I chose to arrive by car There is always a public car park near your place of residence. The rate is: • On time • Per 24-hour day • Per week • Per month It may prove to be more interesting to pay for a week rather than per day for stays longer than 4 days, and so on. Check the rate grid carefully at the parking entrance or go to the security post as soon as you are parked. Location was great. The property - not so much. As soon as you open the door, the smell of mildew and urine hits your nose. There was no shampoo/conditioner. The apartment "living room" was tiny, and if you were to put up the clothes hanger to dry your laundry - you either could not stay in the living room, or could not get through the kitchen area. There was only a sheet on the bed, not a blanket, and there were no extra sheets available (that I really wanted to put on the two seat "couch"). There was sand on the bed as well.
