Nice hiking and bird watching in the area. Niagara-on-the-Lake was a very short drive away. FYI the many vineyards in the are employ "boomers" to scare the birds from the grapes during fall. This was not a deterant or problem for us, it was just an interesting fact that we learned from other hikers. There were many roadside farmstands with excellent fresh fall produce. ##### Deborah S. Our “home away from home” was exactly as it was advertised; quiet, clean, nicely decorated and only 8 minutes from the Shaw Festival theatres, which was the reason for our visit. The back yard was big and we enjoyed sitting outside having our dinner. My son turns 60 in a couple of weeks and this was a gift to him. We are from Manitoba and were joined by family from the Stratford area A great time was had by all and absolutely no complaints regarding the accommodations. Such a great respite after days of exploring Toronto and Niagara Falls. Wish we would have stayed longer as two full days wasn’t enough to enjoy the area.
