The breakfasts were wonderful and set up on our time schedule. There was a fan in our room which was great, given the unexpected heat wave. There really was not room for our two suitcases in our room, so we couldn't use it for anything but sleeping and getting clean. The TV was in a common room, but it was a satellite one, which without help we couldn't use. The pluses far outweighed the minuses. The area and the home were quiet and the home was lovely. Wow wow wow What a beautiful place! The hosts Anne and Allan so nice. Easy to chat. Anne prepared a fabulous breakfast for both mornings we were there and wow she is an outstanding chef!!! And she gave us great wineries and dinners recommendations. Our host were friendly and made us feel most welcome. Anne’s homemade breakfasts were delicious. The rooms are spotless and relaxing on the front porch in the evening watching the cardinals was very pleasant. The guestroom and lounge were immaculately clean and comfortable, with calming decor and furnishings. Anne's breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. Anne and Alan were charming hosts. Alan and Anne are lovely and so adaptable in their delicious breakfast. We would have appreciated being able to close the doors to the bathroom to block the light and a grab bar in the bath room but everything else was absolutely perfect. My new husband and I went here for our mini honeymoon to explore the wine region. We were served wonderful breakfasts every morning. The space was clean, organized and exactly what we needed after such a hectic time. Alan and Anne were fantastic hosts. I especially loved the little touches like self serve tea and coffee. This area is also near many wineries where you can drive or bike.
