Accommodating 6 guests, this property is within walking distance of the iconic Niagara Falls and conveniently located near art and cultural attractions, as well as a variety of restaurants. It features 2 queen beds, 1 double bed, 1 sofa bed, and 1 twin mattress, along with 2 full bathrooms. The Copper Penny House is a charming vacation rental dating back to 1893\. This home is perfect for today’s family travelers, offering a quiet and private atmosphere surrounded by large shade trees and a lovely view of a peaceful city park. Just 200 feet from the house, a newly paved walking trail leads directly to the Falls area. Relax on the wicker furniture on our front verandah and enjoy the beautifully landscaped yard—it truly feels like a “home away from home.” If your plans involve day outings to Local Wineries, The Butterfly Conservatory, The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, Golf Courses, or Old Towne Niagara-on-the-Lake, there is only a short walk to the WEGO transit bus that will conveniently take you to all locations. There is always something entertaining to do here! Guests have full access to the entire house and yard, including the basement laundry room. This is a private rental, and the owner does not live on the property. Other details to note Location Information: Most guests find our property walkable to the falls, but some have noted that the distance can be challenging for the elderly, small children, or during inclement weather. The falls area is expansive, including Clifton Hill, American Falls, and Horseshoe Falls. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Clifton Hill, which offers numerous shops, dining, and attractions. From there, it may take another 20 minutes to reach Horseshoe Falls, passing by various attractions. Overall, our guests appreciate the balance of being close to the falls while enjoying a quieter, more peaceful environment away from the crowds. Check-In/Out Policy: For early check-in requests, please message us. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we typically won't know about availability until one or two days before your arrival. Our standard check-out time is 11 AM, and extensions are unlikely due to incoming guests and our cleaning schedule. Property Maintenance: During your stay, our lawn maintenance team may be working on the property. We also handle garbage and recycling collection every other Friday. TV Services: We do not have cable TV, but we do provide a TV with streaming services like YouTube and Netflix. If you plan to watch live sports events, please research how to stream them on our TV prior to your arrival, as you may need to purchase subscriptions or use a VPN for events not broadcast in Canada. The kind of place where you can tell the owner takes pride in every detail, inside and out.The house was fully stocked—from the kitchen to the bathroom to the laundry room. Towels, supplies, and thoughtful extras were all right where you needed them. It made settling in effortless.We met the host in person—genuinely one of the most welcoming and guest-focused people we’ve encountered. He’s already made noticeable upgrades, with more underway, especially outside. It’s clear he’s building something special, not just managing a listing.The location is another big win. Quiet neighborhood, quick access to Clifton Hill and the Falls, and convenient parking right at the property. And the host’s local recommendations were spot-on. His tip to visit Niagara-on-the-Lake gave us one of the most memorable afternoons of our trip.This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a well-run, guest-ready home.
