Pillar and Post wows!
The Pillar and Post is an upscale hotel that is cozy and welcoming. The flowering plants throughout the common areas are an unusual but much appreciated touch, as are the stunning bouquets of red roses in the lobby. The decor is in keeping with the property's history as an old factory----exposed brick walls and heavy ceiling beams. The rooms are utterly welcoming, with comfortable beds, wicker chairs, large workspaces, and efficient baths with ample amenities. Every staff member I encountered smiled and greeted me. Very happy with our stay!

Nice Hotel
Nice hotel, good 24 hour car shuttle but poor customer service (at the front desk). No running water in our room in the morning of check out. We called down to tell the front desk and they said they would call back and didn't, we had to call back to the front desk after waiting around then had to go to the spa to have a shower. At check out there was no "Sorry about all your inconvenience...why don't you have breakfast on us" from the hotel manager. It was a "sorry things happen and I can't do anything for you as you booked through a third party provider." I was pretty irritated by this response after paying $200+ dollars to then shower as if I was staying in a hostel!

Great Hotel
Beautiful surroundings-spa is 5 star-walking distance to downtown-shuttle service to reach vineyards. 20 mins from Niagara Falls. Lots of parking-hotel staff amazing-great hotel

Beautiful hotel, terribly uncomfortable room
The hotel itself was spectacular, however for the price 250+ a night the room was ridiculously uncomfortable. We asked for a king size bed, but said it would depend on availability (so we would get a queen size bed if we couldn't get a king) except when we checked in we were given a full size bed that was quite possibly the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. And they didn't even have fitted sheets on the bed (just a top sheet over a mattress pad ... ) on top of that the fireplace would not turn on. This trip was for our annivsary and I was disappointed with the room. Other than that the hotel itself was wonderful, I just don't know if we would spend that much money on a room with such little comforts.

Romantic Get Away
We showed up early with hopes of getting an early check in. We were pleasantly surprised to not only get the early check in but to get an upgrade to a suite. We really enjoyed the generous space and the fireplace. The bathroom design is a little weird. It's a generous room but has the toilet in the middle and very open and a tiny neo-angle shower in the corner. Certainly could have had a better use of the space with a better design.

Weekend getaway
I have visited Pillar and Post several times, and I always enjoy this hotel. The staff is friendly, great, clean, comfortable rooms and the decor and ambiance of the hotel is just great. The restaurant at Pillar and Post serves delicious food, I always love to have dinner there! This hotel is within walking distance to the main street area, where you can find lots of shops, restaurants, a great park for the kids and also close to the lake.

The Pillar an Post is a great hotel with amazing grounds, we always stay there when we are in Niagara on the Lake. Close to town, wineries and good restaurants. If you are looking for a getaway with an amazing spa that is centrally located, this is the place to be.

Romantic& restful Weekend
Alot of rest ,bliss and fun in two nights. Couple message was great. Great value wireries (food), casino and the falls were super. TheResort & Spa was a nice value and very comfortable...touches like free water, roses at night and a welcome wine & cheese on Fri was perfect add ons. Dinner at the Pillar and Post Saturday night was excellent.( make reservations early) Heart of town and Lake was very close and very neat even in the winter. Super experiance !!

We stay at Pillar & Post, each time we return. From the extremely comfortable rooms to the relaxing spas and luxurious massages, we cannot think of how a place could be nicer. My wife and I ate at your exquisite restaurant the first time and have returned to the lounge each time since. A top rating from us!

Fire alarm went off and everyone had to exit the hotel. Nice spa and hot springs and pool area, nice for girls night out as well! A pool table would be nice or table tennis board, food was pretty good, service was good.

Christmas mini get away
Each year we book two nights at the Pillar and the Post. It is one place you can always count on to have fantastic food, a outstanding spa treatments ( would highly recommend). There was only one thing we were not to keen on and that was having to go outside, up two flights of stairs in the snow and cold. Only thing I would do differently next time, request a room inside. This is a truly 5⭐️ hotel.

Paint peeling on bathroom door, chipped tiles in bathtub. Our room was in older part of hotel and could only be accessed from outside and up a set of stairs. Outside staircase not lit (I fell down a couple of steps). Hotel lobby was decorated but looked dated (80's era)

I arranged a stay with five girlfriends from high school. We'd had'nt been together in years We caught up on family and friends. We wined, eat and shoppped. We used the hot spring in the evening after dinner,then back to the room to enjoy a glas of local wine. Great Time

We stayed for two nights as a honeymoon celebration. The room, the extras like the gas fireplace, roses on the pillow and the bed itself was extremely comfortable; the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub were very nice. The employees were quite courteous. What we didn't care for was that it was quite quiet and dull. Some upbeat music in the bar would have made the experience much nicer. Also some soft music in the lobby would have been nice, too.

Celebrated wedding anniversary with husband and also the upcoming arrival of our first baby in 5 weeks. Bathroom was very small and tight, room was quite old and air conditioner struggled to keep room cool - very noisy throughout the night. Otherwise an ok stay but for the cost of the room I would probably have chosen another place.

We loved our stay! We were thrilled to find we'd actually booked a suite which was very spacious and comfortable with first class amenities. Our room was in the spa wing so VERY private and quiet. Liked that. Bed firm yet comfy - great nights sleep. Separate living area w/tv - nice. Bathroom was huge w/whirlpool tub and separate shower. Thank you to Brittany for caring for our room during our stay. Every night, there's a fresh rose on your pillow. Nice touch!! Hotel just lovely - large, spacious, indoor pool, outdoor pool nice (very crowded while we were in town but still usable), spa area w/hot spring was super nice at end of long touring day. Lobby sitting area w/fresh water and fruit a plus. Lobby very pretty w/contemporary flair. Not fru fru but representative of period. Liked we could use facilities at Prince of Wales and Queens Landing. Enjoyed the former's lounge so much better that P&P's. Spacious vs tucked in corner. We reallllly enjoyed our stay, free shuttle, our bellman/shuttle guy Alex, and pretty much everyone on staff. All were helpful. Other guests equally pleased it seemed. Cannery Restaurant was great for b'fast; average in my mind for dinner compared to other NOL restaurants with significant edge. Only negative I can present was on arrival, we wanted to celebrate our wknd with a drink in the lounge. Crabby male waiter seemed irritated. He turned me "off" w/ the negative aura. New job! Suggestion to hotel: add a 2nd morning regular coffee caraffe.

Best hotel in NOTL!
This hotel is fantastic! We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary here and also stayed on our honeymoon. All the amenities you could ask for. It would be hard to stay anywhere else as they have so much to offer. An indoor and outdoor pool, gym, sauna, hot springs and two restaurants. The service is outstanding!! We will be going back again next year!!

Overall we had a great experience. The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs were so amazing. The temperature of the outdoor pool was the best I've ever experienced. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to comfortably swim at night, at the end of August! The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Improvements to make our stay even more enjoyable would be to dust the overall facilities. We noticed the heating/cooling vents in our room were caked in a thick layer of dust. This is a health concern. Also, the view out our window was disappointing because the screen was so dusty it was hard to see out the windows. Again, when we were relaxing in the indoor hot tub, above our heads in clear view was very dusty plants and venting grills. For the top notch rate charged we expect top notch cleanliness, but our expectations were not met. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed a great nights rest. However, we did need to change in a pillow that had yellow stains on the case. Our request was accommodated promptly, but it would have been nice to not have that experience. Otherwise the bedding and sheets were very inviting.

My friend and I had stayed at Pillar and Post for a few years in a row. I found the rates lower through Hotel.com so we booked through your agency. UNFORTUNATELY they re-charged me when I checked out. I am not sure I would stay there again as this was unbelievable to me. I had to contact the CEO of the chain to get it resolved and, although they told me my debit card would receive the credit, I have yet to be reimbursed.

Nice romantic getaway. The room (suite) was large and comfortable with a rose left on the bed each night. We enjoied the hot springs and the spa as well. Excelent staging ground to enjoy Niagara on the Lake.

The television did not work and kept flipping channels through out the entire time. I did complain the next morning and they only took $15 off my bill, which I thought was a little disappointing. The sheets had hair on it and when we were ready to call and complain, the phone didn't work. It was too late and we put another sheet over the bad one.

Old charm with luxurious surroundings
We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at the Pillar and Post. This is my third visit to this hotel and this visit was as excellent as the others. The bedding is super comfortable, the staff are respectful and helpful, the proximity to the downtown is superb and the Cannery has fabulous food. What I like most about this facility is the fact that it is not a high rise building and it exudes old time charm and warmth.
