I would never stay here again. The heat in my room didn’t work. It was so noisy outside and staff walking around with a trolly at night time! So disgusting and dirty in the room. Underneath the beds were caked on dirt and dust bunnies (not good for my allergies!) and when I called about how I had no heat in the middle of the night they told me sorry maintenance went home at 12…doesn’t help when my children and I are freezing and can’t sleep!

We had a great room with an awesome view of the falls. Jacuzzi tub. Room was clean and very comfortable. Would go back again.

The property is very out dated. There is not even coffee in the rooms, you have to go to the lobby. Check-in took forever, the mini fridge just sits against a wall as an after thought, and the bathroom has a pedestal sink with a tiny glass shelf for toiletries. We had to keep our toiletries in our suitcases. Only plus was the location and the upgrade to a jacuzzi room for the long wait.

Fallsview room had stunning views! The hotel rooms need some updates the furniture and plumbing could also use updating. In addition, the tv channels were limited. The room however, was comfortable and we had a good night’s rest.

My Husband surprised me with an overnight stay for my birthday. Our king size bed room with Falls view was fantastic. The view from our room was stunning. Your location was only a 7 minute walk to OLG where we went for the Lonestar concert. I loved how coffee and tea were available around the clock and for free. We also loved that it didn't cost us an arm and a leg to stay and have a beautiful falls view room. Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be back.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The Property looks like it hasn't had a remodel done since the 1980's. Bathtub was cracked and overall the place was dirty. Sauna was broken. Pool area had no towels after just opening up. There were exposed wires in the hallways and missing light covers. The alternate staircases were cracked and part of the tiles for staircase were missing. Busted glass doors on side of building. One last thing was the elevator opening up right before the platform was there and I'm talking like six inches. Be wary bringing children to this place.

The staff were amazing, friendly and considerate. We able to upgrade to a Fallsview room which was great! The room itself was very underwhelming as there was no coffee maker, microwave and the bathtub was quite rusty and needed maintenance. Our toilet did overflow on our stay but the maintenance staff was quick, efficient and kind. Overall the experience was good. Thank you!

Horrible hotel. No batteries in the remote, no light bulbs in the lamps, no hangers in the closets, hair in the showers and jacuzzi, rude front desk representatives, Shafali especially. No type of compensation or concern from the staff. Not even an apology. Clogged & overflowing toilets, nasty carpets, bathtub was lifting and water was coming from the bottom, which smelled of mold and mildew. Horrible, horrible stay. Highly not recommended. Truly disgusted by the entire experience and the way the staff handled these situations. Simple things you would expect to have at/in your hotel are not the things you should expect when staying here. And they have the nerve to charge their guest $45 a night for parking. A motel is better than this hotel. I would not recommend to anyone I know nor will I return!

Horrible hotel. Highly not recommended. We had to change our room 3 times. Between clogged toilets, and bathtubs that were literally lifting from the ground, we had a horrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend a homeless person to even sleep here. Staff was very rude and had no sympathy or empathy for any of the inconveniences. This hotel is highly neglected by the management, housekeeping & maintenance department. SHUT IT DOWN! One staff member told us the hotel was previously up to a few months ago, used to relocate refugees. Needs lots of work. 0/10. Do not waste your time and money. Stay elsewhere.

Due to staying at the Oakes in the past, I booked a girls weekend and reserved 3 rooms. To my disappointment rooms weren’t clean. Bathrooms were missing shower curtains, mild on walls and ceiling and around tub (all rooms) no one would or could use shower. No hangers on the hooks for hangers and two of the 3 had no chairs to sit. I don’t normally poorly review hotels, but I was so disappointed ☹️

Room smelled like smoke. Not light bulbs in the lamps. Entire hotel needs an upgrade. Lots of miles on the carpets windows and walls. Very disappointed.
