Great Location, Comfortable and well stocked
We stayed for 4 nights and found everything to be very nice. Arrival/Check-in was smooth with a 1 hour call ahead to the owner before your arrival. The manager of the unit gave us a tour, some info. on the area, etc... she even had the place pre-cooled for us with the A/C units! The beds are very comfortable, as were the furnishings in the living room. (the chairs in the front room are a lot more comfortable than they look!). The TV worked fine, as did the WiFi with no issues. We didn't use the oven/stove, or the microwave, but the coffee maker and fridge worked well. As someone else mentioned, the water pressure in the bath/shower was very good. The A/C units worked well also. The location was very good, with small shops, restaurants/bars, etc... within easy walking distance. The area is very quiet, except for the live band nearby on Fri. night, but they didn't play too late. The bus stop for the Tourist Transportation System - WEGO is just 4 or so blocks down the road. BTW... WEGO is THE way to get around Niagara! $12.50 CAD for 48 consecutive hours of unlimited rides on the bus. The stops are at EVERY major attraction, and many others as well. Their schedule is very good as well, we never waited at any stop more than a few minutes for the next bus. Highly Recommend WEGO! All in all we would absolutely stay here again! The ONLY reason for the 1 star reduction in the rating was the stairs up to the unit (it's on the 2nd floor) - they are steep, and small (not much room to place your foot). Quite a workout for those with any leg/knee issues, or elderly. (One person in our party of 3 had double knee replacements, and found the stairs difficult.) Me, I'm just out of shape... :) We very much enjoyed our stay, and would certainly recommend this place to anyone interested!
