No one answers the phone after 8 pm. Horrible cancellation policies.

Pros: Everything
It was a very enjoyable stay. The owner was a delight and extremely attentive to our needs. The location was very convenient, in walking distance of the Falls and attractions. Breakfast was outstanding.

Pleasant stay in an updated lovely home

Posted 17-Jun-2015
The owner was very nice and accommodating. Located just blocks from Niagara Falls, attractions, & restaurants, it is on a quiet residential street. This was the perfect place for us to stay!

A special experience.

I have never stayed at a B&B before, but this special experience surely will change that for future planning. Susan was a very good host. She did not hover as a matter of fact, she was there when we needed her, and not there when we didn't. She also cooked us up a lovely, quality breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed both days during our stay. This property is the closest private residence to the falls. You can actually hear the falls from the room we stayed in. That was way cool. Our room had a great, clean Jacuzzi and a nice gas fireplace. The linens were clean, the bed was super comfy,we felt right at home staying here. There was also the added benefit of not having to pay extra for parking. This saved us at least $20 a day which we gladly spent in wine country. Susan also pays attention to details. She heard me mention bubble bath soap and before we could venture out to buy some, we had a lovely jar full! There we no other couples due to the fact that we were so early in the season so I can't tell you much about noise insulation. Overall a great trip especially enhanced by following Susan's advice and heading to Niagara lake for ice wine tastings. We also ate at an Italian place nearby. Bravo pizzeria and grill. May I say I had the most delicious appetizer there. Duck confit fries. Perhaps not a dietetic dish, but it was rich and super tasty. I give Susan 5 stars and would be happy to visit her again at her B&B Bluecrest.

Nice quiet option to commercial hotels

Posted 9-Jun-2014 on Hotels
This is a nice B&B with 3 guest rooms. Suzan provided a fantastic full breakfast each morning. Free parking within walking distance of the falls and all of the commercial activities, yet in a quieter neighborhood made this a great option for us. The neighborhood, while safe, was not up to the standard of Suzan's place but was not a problem for us. A common sitting area for reading would be a nice addition. Suzan was a great host!

Bed and Breakfast near Niagara Falls, Canada

Posted 11-May-2014
We arrived at the designated check in time only to find the Bed and Breakfast closed. No one answered the phone...call went straight to voice mail. No one answered the front door. I went to the back door and found a woman who did come to the door. I showed her my reservation, along with the confirmation number that Expedia supposedly had approved with the B&B. The woman was very rude to me and said she knew nothing about the reservation and that they would not be open for 2 more weeks. She slammed the door in my face. So there we were, all the way from northern California and no where to stay. I found out later that the "season" at Niagara Falls doesn't start until May 15th. We were trying to check in on May 2nd. I have called Expedia twice to get a refund for this failed reservation. I have been told that they can not refund the money until they check things out with the B&B. Guess what? No one answers the phone at the B&B. Messages are not returned. I made this reservation before Christmas and have written confirmation from Expedia saying the B&B approved the reservation.

Disappointed

Breakfast was good. Outside maintenace was non-existant. Owner appeared for breakfast but was not available otherwise. TV was out of date and reception went in and out .
