Bed and Breakfast near Niagara Falls, Canada
We arrived at the designated check in time only to find the Bed and Breakfast closed. No one answered the phone...call went straight to voice mail. No one answered the front door. I went to the back door and found a woman who did come to the door. I showed her my reservation, along with the confirmation number that Expedia supposedly had approved with the B&B. The woman was very rude to me and said she knew nothing about the reservation and that they would not be open for 2 more weeks. She slammed the door in my face. So there we were, all the way from northern California and no where to stay. I found out later that the "season" at Niagara Falls doesn't start until May 15th. We were trying to check in on May 2nd. I have called Expedia twice to get a refund for this failed reservation. I have been told that they can not refund the money until they check things out with the B&B. Guess what? No one answers the phone at the B&B. Messages are not returned. I made this reservation before Christmas and have written confirmation from Expedia saying the B&B approved the reservation.
