My wife and Ijust finished a two night stay at L'Alya. The facilities are lovely and the staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay there. The location is in a beautiful and relaxing natural area, and the views are just gorgeous. I'm a birdwatcher, so I really enjoyed seeing birds there like Kingfishers, laughingthrushes, bee-eaters, and more. The best part of L'Alya is the dining facility, which offers both Vietnamese and Western food options. The kitchen is run by an excellent chef, and all of our meals there were consistently delicious. We can't recommend L'Alya enough to everyone out there.

Calm and peaceful stay
Perfact vacation with very kind staffs. It was cozy, eco friendly, calm and peaceful. A various restaurant menus are good taste for me. They have also interesting actovites- fishing, kayaking, cooking class.

Breathtaking & Full of Charm
L’alya is truly a hidden gem in an ever growing upscale market in Vietnam. Sometimes overlooked by her flashier and ultra luxe neighbors, L’alya comfortably stands on her own. I’ll break down my review based on areas of interest: Grounds, Facilities & Setting -One of the best parts of L’alya is her setting. Part tropical beach resort, part ‘mountain retreat’- it’s truly the first time I’ve ever been able to see palm trees swaying at the same time I was listening to the breeze through the pine trees. I’ve stayed at all of the Ninh Van resorts and I’d rate L’alya’s beach as the best on the ‘island’. Also, the pool is an absolute stunner. Villas -I stayed in a Lagoon View Villa which is what I would suggest if you want to feel like you’re a million miles away from it all (in the best of ways). Everything in the Villa was designed well, noticeable quality and authentic to its location. The bathroom was stunning. Outside, there was a beautiful private pool, an outdoor living room and sun loungers- all looking out over the lagoon to the ocean. Service -With just 33 villas, service is where they really show what they’re made of. Every Villa is looked after by a “Butler” who coordinates anything and everything for you at the resort. Quyên, my butler was a star who I could not say enough good things about. I also cannot speak of service without mentioning Hưng the restaurant manager and his team of genuinely warm servers. I really cannot say enough good things about L’alya.

Wonderful in every way
A beautiful resort with wonderful staff who could not do enough for you. Villa was large and private. A very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely grounds and beach. Can not recommend highly enough.

We have 1 restaurant because we only have 33 total villas at our resort with less than 70 guests when we are full house. On top of that we have private dining experience which we have several locations for the guest to choose. Our restaurant menu also considers very big with wide selections of cuisines. Regarding no air conditioning, hope other guest will not get misleading info as we do have an arcade at our villa but at the bedroom only. We do not have AC in living room as resort living concept is more to open air. Thank you & Happy Lunar New Year!

Amazing staff. They really go above and beyond for you. It's extremely relaxing, and a very rustic but luxurious Villa. We stayed at the lagoon villa. I would recommend kayaking and lounging at the Villa pool or the infinity pool.

Beautiful location and complete relaxation
The Villas are just incredible - you get a huge bed, an entire living area and huge bathroom, complete with outdoor shower and bath not to mention the private pool! We stayed in a villa by the lagoon - and it was felt so secluded. It was the prefect place to unwind and relax. The service was great and the food really good. The only downside is that you are limited to activities as once you arrive you are on the resort and there is only the one restaurant to eat at.

Island Feel resort
Our family of 4 including 2 teenagers chose L’Alyana for a short 3 night break over the new year before taking on Hanoi. The resort was well organized and the staff friendly. We were fortunate to have villa 8 which is adjacent to the restaurant and at the end of the jetty. Therefore we did not require electric carts for our transport. It was very quiet despite being next to the restaurant. The villa was large with an outdoor bath and shower and internal swing, plunge pool and overlooked the beach. Food was very good, presentation wonderful. Pho for breakfast has now become our staple. Unfortunately not due the fault of the resort, it rained the entire time (unseasonal) we were there. Our only negative comment would be that the resort could have thought up some activities to entertain the guests. The staff and management did put on a terrific New Years Eve show and dinner however despite the weather.

A Piece of Paradise
This was easily one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at with some of the nicest and most attentive staff. We stayed at L'Alyana for one night on Saturday November 3rd to Sunday November 4. Everything was perfect, from the airport pick up, to the reception drink while we waited for our short boat ride to their island hotel. If you are looking for absolute piece and quiet, while being pampered with amazing service, this is the place for you. Our villa was in an amazing location, seemingly like being in the rainforest, while simultaneously getting a spectacular view of the water.

L'Alyana is awesome is the perfect resort to get away from the city, very exclusive and great place to relax. The rooms are incredible and the villa makes you feel like you are on your own tree house. The hotel pool is amazing, we liked it better than our pool villa as the villa doesn't have a view from the pool. The breakfast buffet is great and restaurant has some great options. The hotel has activities every day and everyone is extremely helpful and nice.

This hotel left me wordless. I travel over 20 times a year and have never seen a resort with such a personal touch. Dao was an amazing butler and every staff in the resort really cared about how our stay was. Will definitely be back.

Nice resort but a few let down
If you are into "hide away from the madness of this world" experience then this resort is for you. Beautiful private beach on one of the most beautiful bay, awesome view, open air nice villas. However, there is quite a few let down. The resort streets and beach are mostly crushed stones so it's not so comfy on the feet, i would prefer sandy beach and cobble stone streets. The pool is very nice but quite small. Food is ok but only 1 restaurant so limited choice. Not to mention the rocky/ bouncy canoe ride to the resort. I wouldn't recommend this for pregnant woman, senior citizen or small children...quite dangerous and uncomfortable.

With regards to the crunch stone, now it’s no longer there as we have top up with a fine beach sand in this month at all beach & lagoon villas. About the small pool, our resort only consist of 33 villas & each villa also with private pool. So mainly the guest will use their own private pool villa instead of the main pool. This same with the restaurant which we only have 1 as our number of guest is small compare to other resort. We’re exclusive and our restaurant menu are huge and on top of that we can prepare any food that not in the menu as long as we have the items in the kitchen. We also offer private location dining experience which end up not much people dine at the restaurant. The bouncy ride to the resort is subject to weather and this year the climate change and the weather is unpredictable. However the bouncy only happen when it’s windy & we have bigger boat for guest for this kind of weather. Lastly our villas have 4 types of category which can cater to all need. As for child and elderly people we have beach villa or lagoon villa which are more suitable to them. Thank you.

Beware the Dirty Pool Villas of An Lam Villa
we had visited the resort 4 years ago and the upkeep of the villas as well as the pool in the villa and the main swimming pool was far from satisfactory. In fact, both pools were very dirty and we developed skin rashes from using the pools. upon closer inspection of the water in the pools, we discovered what looked like floating faeces in the water which was quite disgusting. We had snakes and frogs in our rooms and with young kids it was a frightening experience. Lastly, the room service was also very poor and our orders were constantly wrongly delivered and cold/unappetising in taste. we definitely won't be coming back ever!

My husband and I stayed here for four days of our honeymoon. Overall, we loved it but for these villas to be truly 5 star, the cleaniness of the villa (mainly the bathroom and the plunge pool) need to be improved. In saying that, our stay was still fantastic. The most impressive things about these villas were the staff, the seclusion, the spaciousness and privacy of the villa, the enjoyment of cycling around the resort, kayaking in the bay, the free daily shuttle to Nha Trang, the bar with its games and pool table next to a gorgeous, massive outdoor water feature, the stunning resturant setting with well priced food and beverages, the swing in the bathroom, the free mobile phone given to us to call our butler directly from anywhere over our stay, the delicious fruit platter delivered to our villa every afternoon... and the list goes on!

Fantastic rooms, service and location - perfect!
Fantastic treat for our honeymoon to have four nights in the lagoon villa. Staff were friendly and at ease, food (particularly breakfasts, pastas and chicken pho) brilliant, room was spotless, private pool and main pool were just stunning. Very nice touches of fresh fruit in the rooms every day, espresso machines and beautiful outdoor bath with luxury salts. Perfect end to our honeymoon.

Wonderful stay
Despite (or because) of the long time it took to get on site from the airport, An Lam proved to be a very pleasant place for a relaxing vacation -- easily one of our best in southeast Asia. The villa we had was very spacious, with many lounging areas, both indoor and outside. It even had two swings in the rooms. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. It was great to have the personal service of an assigned butler. It was also very family friendly. Our kids really got into fishing and the hotel prepared everything for them immediately upon request. They even cooked and served all the fishes our kids caught free of charge. The "4" rating I'm giving for room cleanness shouldn't be a big deal. Due to the openness of the villa design, it would be quite hard to keep the rooms completely clean all the time. In addition, the rooms generally were comfortable. The only minus was that only one room had air-conditioning and you had to sleep in a mosquitos tent to avoid getting bitten.

Paradise! Everything we hoped and more!
This was the first resort we stayed in on our recent trip to Vietnam and we were not disappointed. Based upon reviews I read I knew this resort was on a peninsula that was a boat ride away from Nha Trang, please note though that the resort's dock is 30 minutes or so north of Nha Trang (approximately 60 minutes from airport during not peak traffic). We did not arrive at the dock until around 7pm (but resort staff were expecting us since I let them know approximate arrival time), however the staff were very welcoming despite the late hour. After a 15 minute speed boat ride we arrived in paradise! We were greeted at the dock by our butler who took care of us for the duration of our stay. We stayed in villa #12 overlooking the lagoon. The bathrooms in the villas are huge, outdoor tub and shower, double sinks. The bedrooms had great AC but you could also open the doors for a breeze. Given the remote location we ate breakfast and dinner at the resort everyday. Our room was also stocked with fresh cut fruit daily. I was concerned that would get boring but their menu is extensive. Although prices for meals and excursions were more expensive when you consider all supplies have to be barged to the resort it makes sense. This is a small resort but since they were not fully booked, staff easily outnumbered guests. Our butler Truc was the best! He was attentive, considerate, and very friendly. This is a hotel made for relaxation.

Wonderful Stay!!!
My husband and I went to An Lam for our honeymoon. It was absolutely wonderful time. We got Lagoon villa no.17 which was huge, very comfy and private. We love the natural, wild and rustic look of the resort. The interior and the garden are well done with very much of attention. The foods was great with big sizes. The chef definitely delighted us. Our butler named Hung, he was so nice and always smily, as well as other staffs, lovely people. They were also very caring. I unfortunately had a stomach upset because of the sandwiches I had at the airport. The staffs and the general manager kept asking how I felt and took care of me. They also prepared some ginger tea to settle down my tummy. Since It was our honeymoon, they surprised us at the last dinner with a lovely cake and a piece of wood with our names on it as a present. We definitely had an unforgettable honeymoon at An Lam.

Fantastic Stay
Absolutely fantastic - highlight of our Vietnam trip. Staff very friendly. Butler Truc awesome. On arrival I mentioned that my Son had his 8th birthday during the stay, hotel organized balloons, table on the beach for evening meal etc!

I cried when I left with our 24 hour butler.(He also cried!) This amazing place I will never forget. While you are having dinner your room will be prepared for sleeping. Private pool, garden, villa, bathroom always clean. Expresso coffee machine & tea . No instance coffee . Nothing to do except relax BUT snorkeling , scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, walks, watching staff playing soccer if you want to. Total relaxation, pampering and respect for your needs. Food was fantastic but expensive. (but a lot must be delivered from mainland.

Worth every penny...
Such a beautiful holiday destination. Service is second to none, the villas, beaches and pools are stunning and the personal Butler service is such an unusual but welcome feature of the holiday. We can't wait to get the chance to go back. Would recommend this place to absolutely everyone who wants to spend some time in a little piece of paradise.

Our stay at your hotel was wonderful. Ursula and Mr Luan service was excellent. Very much appreciated the upgrade to the lagoon suite for our honeymoon. Very relaxing, exactly what i wanted, My new wife was very happy. Loved the fishing pod experience. Excellent food. We were extremely happy with everything provided. Only improvement would be internet and in house tv system. Internet signal in the room was very weak and tv service was complex and froze sometimes. We were able to get around problems. Overall wonderful experience.

this is the most amazing get away hotel. When you drive through Nha Trang city you realize just how special this place is. A short boat ride from the mainland but a million miles away from the busy streets and crowded beaches of Nha Trang. But what makes this place truly unique is the staff. Everyone was so amazing, from the restaurant through to the beach hut staff where they organized great kids activities, including treasure hunts and statue painting. Just over and beyond what other hotels offer, the personal service is truly memorable.

Unforgetable experience
I staid one night (only) at the An Lam villas with my girlfriend. The purpose of this getaway was to propose her in a place she would not forget....well I must admit I didn't expect anything more unforgettable! Maybe they treated us better because they knew the purpose of our visit..I'd like to think so! anyway, everything was perfect. They surprised us from the very first step on the pier, to the last minute of our stay. Everything was made to make us feel special, and to leave indelible memories of our engagement night. Our butler was extremely friendly and attentive, they gave us a hill rock villa with the best view on the bay, and for the big night the chef set-up for us a beautiful table in a secret and highly romantic location. We were served by 2 waiters who recently got married (attentions), and they told us they didn't have a starry night like this night for a few weeks! That makes one couple feel lucky, and blessed. A few staff members, including our butler, the chef and the customer care manager were waiting for us on the pier upon arrival, and accompanied us on the way back to the boat. Not to mention the dramatic landscape, the perfect weather and the amazing food...I could go on and on and on, but one should go there without specific expectations, because they will exceed them anyway!

Relaxing vacation, amazing service!!
What an amazing vacation! The resort was secluded and gorgeous. We rented a 2 bedroom villa and it was amazing! Our butler, Tran, was so amazing and really made the trip. We went in off season, and the resort was half full. Weather still great and even more quiet. Highly recommend this place!

Private hideaway with all the luxuries
Amazing resort. Villas are fantastic and are really the only home you need while there given the size of the plunge pool and the sheer amount of private space you have to yourself. However all parts of the resort (certainly the spa, fitness centre, bar and restaurant) also offer casual luxury. Prepare to unwind.

I had wonderful vacation with two children. Hubby and I enjoyed natural & green villa and slow time. Two little girls loved swimming in the villa.
