River Ranch is a newly renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with a less than 2 minute drive to Sunday River’s South Ridge Lodge. You’ll love being nestled in “Snow Village Estates”; a peaceful, wooded neighborhood adjacent to mountain activities, shops, restaurants and more! Easily drop-off/pick-up skiers throughout the day or shoot back home for a quick lunch. You'll truly appreciate this traffic-free location on busy days when the main access road is backed up for miles! Walk to The Foggy Goggle. Drive to The Matterhorn Ski Bar or Steam Mill Brewing, both less than 3 miles away. This location’s perfect balance of privacy and proximity is hard to beat! Inside, the open concept floorplan creates a spacious yet connected vibe. The fully applianced kitchen has ample storage and all the comforts of home. The large living room is centered around a 75” smart television w/soundbar and woodstove. There is a Sonos smart speaker, extra-long couch (with pull-out bed), and an oversized armchair perfect for relaxing after a long day on the slopes. Play board games gathered around the coffee table, enjoy your beverage of choice while watching the fire, wrap yourself in a cozy blanket and just RELAX! The primary bedroom offers a king bed, large dresser, closet and ensuite bath with shower. There is also a queen bedroom, common bath w/full tub/shower, and a bunk room with a twin-over-full and additional trundle. The bunk room also includes 2 beanbag chairs and a 43” television. Each bed has been outfitted with soft flannel and fleece bedding. Guests are more than welcome to bring their own bedding if they choose! This was the cleanest and most well appointed interiors we have experienced. The description of the location is accurate. About a 10-5 min walk or about a 2 min drive to the lodge. The garage and car park are a nice plus for the nights with fresh snow, making the morning trip to the mountain that much easier.Our family enjoyed the space and the coziness of this house. The area was so quiet and peaceful; almost no traffic. The house was very clean and “modern”. Decorated nicely. There wasn’t much in the kitchen to help with cooking but that was fine because we were attending a wedding. Even though it says it sleeps 8-10, it’s really only comfortable for 2 couples (4-5 adults) and the rest children because the double couch sofa and trundle bed were not very comfortable at all. They also have a nicely made ramp to enter the house which makes access simpler for an elderly or disabled family member, and that isn't common with vacation rentals. Michele and Jason were super responsive when I had a minor IT issue. Very friendly and accessible. The location to Sunday River was another huge plus. Just 2 minutes to South Ridge lodge. From the brand new kitchen to the cozy, oversized living room furniture and the just right bedrooms, this home had everything our family could want and need in a rental without the excessive extras. It was a serene escape to sink into at the end of the day for our whole family… fur baby included. The cherry on top of the home was how lovely, warm, and responsive our hosts were.
