There wasn't anything we didn't like. An 1870's house upgraded bathroom, 12-14 ft ceilings, gas fireplaces in every room, a carafe of Courvoisier for a night's recap before the gas fireplace, the 4 poster bed , antiques all over, a great history to the house ands the local area. The entire house is gorgeous, and our room was amazing from the size, beauty and comfort of the bedroom and bathroom to the window view of the harbor. Breakfast was a feast of delicious foods. The location was excellent, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Only negative was that we couldn't stay longer. A unique and very special property with wonderful hosts, we had a fantastic stay. Our bedroom was in the historic tower and, while full of beautiful antiques and memorabilia, was exceptionally comfortable, especially the bed. And the breakfast was generous and delicious - the table was laden with a huge variety of homemade dishes. The Sarah Kendall House is a beautiful historic home in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with a view of the harbor while watching the sunset. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The owner and his son were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding! Made to order eggs, pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage. Plus, a table with bagels, muffins, fruit and juices. You must stay here! The breakfast was delicious, the room exceeded my expectations for a vintage inspired B&B, and the gardens were stunning. So close to the water, shops and restaurants. And the owners were attentive and informative.
