This condo enjoys a prime beachfront location in the historic Nye Beach neighborhood of Newport. It's a fantastic spot for exploring on foot, with a number of restaurants and shops in the surrounding blocks. You'll also be close to the Newport Historic Bayfront (one mile), Agate Beach State Recreation Site (one mile), the renowned Oregon Coast Aquarium (two miles), and the whale-watching epicenter of Depoe Bay (13 miles). Whether you're visiting in summer or winter, the south- and west-facing windows fill the condo with gorgeous views and natural light. Begin each morning on the balcony, breathing in the fragrant ocean air with a fresh cup of coffee in hand. Enjoy an open kitchen with every essential, an adjacent dining table, and a window-lined living room where you can keep one eye on the smart TV and the other on the breathtaking view. This is my 3rd stay at THIS complex, my first at THIS unit. We stayed here for 5 nights. I LOVE the location of this older complex as it is walkable to so many great restaurants and shops, the stairs to the beach are right outside, and the views cannot be best! This unit really just needs some personal attention and could provide some small basic amenities. First, the WI-FI in this unit was basically non existent so if you are going to try to work or check emails or anything else, make plans to do it at Starbucks or someplace else. Next, the couch was the hardest most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on! There was no real comfortable furniture to just sit and enjoy the amazing view! Some of the bath towels had holes in them and were really rough. There was a light out in the primary bathroom when we arrived. There was no coffee provided, I had brought my own but every other rental I have stayed in has provided at least a day or 2 of coffee. They did have sugar packets and creamer cups available, however the creamer was over 3 months past expiration date and was chunky! No kitchen amenities like salt/pepper. No Kleenex was available and the toilet paper was so rough, using it to blow your nose caused soreness within 1 day. I will most likely not return to stay at this unit, ##### Katy C. The view is wonderful. We have stayed here several times over the years. A new couch was added. The BAD. All the other furniture needs to be changed. It's very uncomfortable. Both of the bathroom sinks drain very slowly. One of the window on the south side in the living area won't close because it's sagged beyond repair. The outlet on the west wall didn't work. Several light bulbs were burnt out. Several wall mounted racks are held on by one screw, toilet paper holds, towel rack The whole place needs a good cleaning. It had surface cleaning but needs much more.
