The upper level, available separately, is open to groups of Six or less. A magical time awaits you at this comfortable and beautiful Newport vacation rental, perfect for a romantic weekend or a quick family getaway as it offers great ocean views and easy access to Agate Beach! Groups of four will love exploring the Oregon Coast, dining on fresh seafood, and beachcombing before watching the sun set! This Central Oregon Coast vacation home is just two blocks south of a public beach and ideally located right next to the Agate Beach Golf Course! The city center is just over two miles away, and you're less than a mile from the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area which offers a marine garden and lighthouse! Shiny hardwood floors and new furnishings make this Oregon getaway lovely. The living room has a cozy gas fireplace, geometric patterned rug, and comfortable sage green furniture. After a day out on the sand, you can settle down in front of the fire and watch a DVD on the flatscreen TV or stream devices thanks to WiFi. A beach getaway isn't just for nice weather either: on stormy nights you can be nice and toasty inside, sipping hot cocoa and listening to the rain fall outside. When there is nice weather, a door just off the living room leads to a patio with stunning ocean views, a gas grill, and fire pit. With seating for up to four, a dark wood dining room table is ready for your home-cooked meals. The full kitchen has all the appliances and gadgets you'll need to tasty breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Dig for clams at the beach to make chowder or buy crab at the market in town for truly memorable meals! This one-bedroom hideaway is the lower level of a larger dwelling. In the bedroom, a king-size bed with soft linens and a lovely mission-style headboard awaits you. A dresser, bedside tables, black spiral lamps, and a modern floral rug create a spa-like oasis for relaxing at the end of the day. In this room, large picture windows frame a breathtaking view of Agate Beach. You'll want to ease into getting up in the morning, taking some time to just lie back and appreciate the wonderful view! This one-bedroom getaway will sleep up to four comfortably, thanks to the living room's comfy sofabed. In total, four guests are inviting to share the space's central amenities including one full bedroom, one bath, and laundry facilities. As nicely decorated as the interior is, you'll definitely look forward to spending time out on the beach! Just a five-minute walk away, you can pack a picnic spread, grab a blanket, and have a sunny, relaxing day out on the sand. And if it's rainy? No problem! Just make the short drive across the iconic green Yaquina Bay Bridge to the Oregon Coast Aquarium for a fun-filled day discovering the mysteries of the sea. I specifically went over this with the management when i booked it and stated "oh it has that trial at the back of the house for beach access, but when we arrived a little sign was posted at that location saying no beach access. A cleaning woman was still present when we arrived because she was trying to get towels dry (the dryer will not dry anything) and so we ask her about the beach access and she pointed us to a map on the frig which said a 5 minute walk to the beach and gave a map with little to no detail which showed a trail which did not exist and we ended up walking much longer than 5 minutes to get to the beach and never did really use the beach because it was a hassle to get to the beach from your location, also, the lock box came apart when we checked in and we had to fix that, the property was dirty and the mattress and box spings sits on the floor, the backroom is a badly painted concrete floor and we had no access to television so we could ever catch the news or anything we wanted to watch at night The baseboards in that house look like they have a black film in the corners and in some places reminding one of possible mold. We paid an outlandish extra fee for something but had to take out the trash, empty the diswasher etc before we left. I property is badly overpriced when you add the fee which you do not advertise and tac on once your place is selected. We could not use the hot tub because someone from the house as left dirty clothing outside by the hottub and it is poorly kept. We could hear everything from upstairs and it sounded like someone was running quite a bit of the time. The parking for this basement is only one space there are two apartments # 10 and # 11 at the location and one night we come home to fine the parking which we thought was ours taken by someone in 10 and we had to go to that location and get someone up to move their car or place our rental car at risk of someone damaging it because it would have had to have been left out in the driveway posing the risk of an accident to the auto and to anyone else who ran into it in that dark driveway. We left a day early because of the poor conditiion of this property - I don't think you are entitled to be paid for that day , or for the 500+ fee you charge us for cleaning and all these other complaints. I was privileged to be staying below the “elephant” family! I could hear every single step they took and by the end of the second day I was out of my mind. It was maddening. I did call the management and they very helpful. They did everything they could for me but it just wasn’t enough. If you plan on staying here you might want to call ahead to see if the upper level is vacant. ##### Jon G. Not even for free Where to start.. there was a bottle cap and dust under heater stove. Couldnt set temp. When stove was on it was very hot and when off cold. No box spring on bed. 2 plates only and not even the same size. You could hear wverything from people above. Bushes were so high, hard to see ocean. I could go on. Not even paper towels.
