Very convenient location with pedestrian access to the harbor shopping, dining, and boating options for sightseeing, tours, and sail. The multi structure inn offers several private bedroom/bath units in separate houses. The staff were friendly and responsive from checkin to checkout. Breakfasts included with the room rate were hearty, cooked to order. The decor is generally period rustic farmhouse. Our bath was usable with some visible maintenance issues. All in all our stay was fully cost effective, clean, convenient, and safe.
Overall a very good option in/around Copley. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. Self check-in is great and instructions were clear. No serious complaints - just some nitpicking: some of the details were showing the properties age, but I guess one could argue it added character to the place. Also, for anyone with mobility issues, please keep in mind some of the locations may require you to navigate several flights of stairs - while not an issue for most, it may post a challenge for others.
Would stay again if/when in Boston.
We stayed just walking distance to town. Room was perfect with king bed and air conditioning. Bring soap and shampoo what they leave in room is not enough. Would definitely stay there again.
This inn was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The inn is located a short 5 minute walk from Thames Street and America’s Cup Avenue which was very convenient for enjoying Newport.
I booked a room at The Cleveland House for an overnight stay to celebrate my wife's birthday. Rick and Mel were welcoming and helpful when we arrived. Our room was nice and clean. There was a high occupancy, but we barely heard the other guests. Breakfast the next morning was delicious! We will be back!
Was a great time and a very nice stay! Room was comfortable and spacious!

Its a cozy old building with narrow hallways, uneven carpeted floors, and vintage pictures. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately the water in shower only came out extremely hot. The mechanism to control temperature wasn’t working. Management was told, but was not fixed by our second day, nor any communication about it. WiFi very slow, bad connections and lots of buffering. We were in a room on top floor, furthest away from office. Might have been the issue?
Parking is tight, but was kindly helped by staff to find a spot and didn’t need to move it until we checked out.
The property location was very convenient. The parking was tight & challenging. The house was built in the 1800s - very eclectic & unfortunately not well maintained. I slept in Room 102. I didn't even have a tv! The bed was wonderful. The walls were cracked. The floors were painted & looked dirty. The room was dusty. I have allergies & coughed most of the night. I met Rick, the owner, who was very charming. RJ, was super helpful, carrying my luggage & parking my car. It was an interesting experience. I don't recommend it

The owner and who I think might be his daughter are so sweet!! The room didn’t have ac during the time I was there, but that was okay because the window did open, and it was 46° at night!! The property was prime location and great parking!! Overall a great stay!
The property was located in an excellent area, right near free transportation and lots of good restaurants. There was some on-site parking but it was very small and backing out of the lot was very tricky. The management was very nice and saw to it that we were assigned a first floor room and help with our luggage. my biggest complaint was that no one serviced our room during our two night stay. Towels were not refreshed and the one and only small trash can in the suite was never emptied and was overflowing by the time we left. Overall, I feel the good outweighed the bad and would consider re-visiting again.

Very nice, antique inn. The innkeeper, Rick Farrick was very helpful and welcoming. Great central location in Newport with a good number of restaurants immediately in the area - walkable, even in February!
