Minutes by bike or car to Newport, Second Beach, Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge, shopping centers, etc. Multiple week discounts available. Weekend rates at beginning and end of summer season, if available. Bright, airy 3-level duplex. 1700 sf of private heated living area. Air conditioning. Huge fenced back yd. Enter accessible main level from front deck to small entry. To the right is a dining area with table, 6 chairs and TV opening to shaded front deck with grill. Next is a granite & stainless kitchen fully stocked with equipment, dinnerware, etc., side-by-side fridge, microwave, gas cook’s stove w grill, microwave, disposal. To the rear is master BR, 2nd BR with bunk beds and full bath. Wide carpeted stairs in front lead down to a family room with two sofas with end tables and coffee table, large screen wall TV and desk. Short hall leads to full bath and 3rd BR. Laundry, storage area and access to bulkhead exit in rear of lower level. Spiral staircase on main level leads to upper level living room with skylights, large sectional couch/sofa bed, coffee table, large screen TV, bookcases, work area with desk, monitor, printer & swivel chair. Slider opens onto 550sf private deck with ocean and sunset views. Each bedroom has an ample lighted double closet. 4 A/Cs. 3 TVs. Hardwoods, laminate and ceramic flooring. Linens are provided for bunk beds and sofa bed, as well as bath mats, dish towels and pot holders. You have the option of bringing your own linens for 2 queen beds as well as bath towels or utilizing a nearby reasonable rental service. We can provide contact info. Baby gear is also available from another rental service. Don’t forget to bring your beach towels and beach chairs. 2 reserved off-street parking spaces. Limited Guest parking available. This is a very small condo development with 3 units in 2 buildings on a large lot. We are in a duplex building set back from the road. The placement of trees and shrubs provides privacy while outside. Once inside, you forget the party wall & have all the privacy of a single family house. suitable for families or up to 6 mature adults. The layout of the house isn't suitable for most children under 5 as there are 2 indoor stairways and a long exterior stairway leading down from the upper deck. However the bunk room, separate family room and large backyard make it perfect for older children and teens. There is plenty of storage area in back of house for bikes, surfboards, etc. We are nearby and available for questions and advice on local activities and attractions. There are myriad activities for all tastes. There is so much to do beyond the beaches. Boating, surfing, paddle boarding, hiking, horseback riding, cycling. Several golf courses and tennis courts nearby. There are two nearby refuges. Sachuest Point National Wildlife Refuge and The Norman Bird Sanctuary. Both have beautiful trails. There are polo matches, New England collegiate baseball, sailing regattas to watch. Outdoor concerts and films. Farmer’s markets. Wineries. Sightseeing - the mansions, Ocean Drive, Tennis Hall of Fame, Fort Adams State Park. Great restaurants at all price ranges. Interesting shops. We have left info on beaches, parks, entertainment, sightseeing, shopping, restaurants & maps for you. We live in Portsmouth on the Island. We are available by phone if you have questions. Very accurate description on VRBO. Not high end, just the basics, but it has everything you need for a lovely stay. I appreciated how much it felt like a real lived in home with all the amenities one uses in a real house...hooks, plenty of lamps, everything you might need was working and available...fully stocked kitchen, etc. We really enjoyed the upper deck with table and chairs. My husband and I sat outside every morning in the shaded chairs on the deck...it was lovely. We ate numerous meals there as well. There is no central A/C so you are using window units, but most rooms had units with the exception of the lowest level with one bedroom, but it tended to be cooler down there and they provided a fan. My son had no problem sleeping. And the two bedrooms on main floor share a bathroom...there is no master bathroom. We also enjoyed the upper TV room with the sectional sofa....it was a very comfortable room to lounge in, read, watch TV. Again, comfortable and spacious place ---not high end, but has all that you need. We loved the convenient location. We got take out several nights, went out for outdoor dining in Newport several times, and I also cooked several meals. We enjoyed riding our bikes to Second Beach ---a bit nicer than Easton Beach. We loved going on runs on Esplanade Rd - Tuckerman with the views of the beach...stunning. We walked to Cliff Walk. We took many bike rides. We went berry picking. All in all - a fabulous week away.
