Instantly relaxed and at ease - PI was exactly the summer getaway we were looking for. Feels a lot like stepping back in time - friendly people, small roads, bikes, a general store, a lighthouse and ferry, no noise pollution, no light pollution and loads of nature to explore. Sandy Beach is a hidden gem where we started every morning. I brought 3 books to read and hardly opened 1 because I was so hypnotized by watching the horizon. Panoramic water views, nightly fireworks for the 4th, and stunning sunsets - all experienced from the 1920s cottage that is loaded with charm and character. If you’re an experienced boater, this is one of the few properties offering its own dock and mooring which we used every day.
