Situated on a corner lot, this half duplex has everything you need – custom luxury finishes, and one of the best locations on the island. This home features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and sleeps up to 4 guests. Upon entering the home, natural travertine flooring, warm custom wainscoting, and an ornate staircase lead you upstairs to the main level with vaulted ceiling and an open concept living room and kitchen. No expenses were spared for the finishes of the home – the custom wainscoting and tumbled travertine floor continue throughout the main living area. The chef’s kitchen is outfitted with Viking Professional appliances, granite counter tops, bar seating for two, and is fully stocked with everything you and your sous chef need to create an amazing meal. The living room is the perfect place to cozy up after a long day, or to enjoy a movie night in. The sofa contains a queen-sized pullout bed and sleeps up to two guests. Just off the main living area you’ll find the primary suite. The king-sized bed with luxury hotel linens and plush pillows awaits you for a dream-filled night of rest. Savor the spa-like en-suite bathroom with oversized vanity, custom marble mosaic tile, and tub and shower combo. From the living room, the steps up lead to the private rooftop deck! This one was by far our favorite location! As a family of four, I would say it was a bit tight, but we were only there to sleep. The pull out sofa bed was perfect for my 2 sons. I would definitely stay there again. The architecture and decor is very Mediterranean, and there is a bit of a learning curve to the bath fixtures. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals, there were plenty of linens and beach towels. Easy access and has a rooftop if you want to see sunset! Around the corner from the todos santos Mexican restaurant. It’s great and has coffee bar in the morning. Can walk to get on ferry to go across to many many restaurants and beach. We loved going to dinner on main strip! Royal Hen was yummy! The unit has top-of-the-line everything (appliances, decor, bedding...even the windows). Despite being near the hub of activity near the ferry, it is blissfully quiet and secure in this unit (since most auto and pedestrian traffic doesn't go past Agate) The location is perfect - easy to go across to the peninsula, an easy walk to Marine Ave with all the shops and even a really great restaurant (Todos Santos) right across the street. This was a perfect location on a great little island and a great place to spend my birthday! Location is perfect! We had one problem, the rooftop deck was unusable as the umbrella was completely broken and it was too sunny without it. It was not possible to be replaced while we were there. Reviewer Comments: For a couple visiting Newport Beach, this has to be one of the best rentals available. this property benefits from its absolute perfect location. You are on the street where the ferry crosses, this gives you access to the peninsula immediately. Rent a bike for your stay and park the car in the provided car port, your done. This location provides a nice scenic walk to get coffee in mornings on Marine street. If you're dying of starvation and don't want to go anywhere, just jump across the street to Todos Santos for great Mexican food or drinks. You can't miss with this place, it was cute, serviced all our needs and more. Just one bug: The TV was not configured for cable as advertised. This was ONLY an issue trying to watch the Super Bowl ending. We watched it on iPads. We didn't turn on the TV the rest of the stay. ##### Dave B.
