Weather was amazing. Host very attentive. Great location walkable to the beach, groceries and restaurants. Clean and neat. We loved the balcony, which gets nice sun. Enough space for two families (four adults and four college age young adults). This is one of the few rentals we could find that sleeps 8 and also has sufficient dining table space and hang-out/sofa space for 8\. We used the bigger sleeping pad and it worked well. Kitchen was updated and everything worked well, but was sort of bare-bones; sufficiently stocked, but it would have been nice to have a few more items. The layout with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths was great. The road noise was a bit of a concern in the master bedroom but we sleep with white noise which seemed to drown out the sound. Photos were accurate. It’s been updated and was lovely. It worked comfortably for our party of 8\. Property management company was responsive, professional, and helpful. Highly recommend. That said, there are a few things to be aware of:- if you’re a foodie and like to cook, this might not be the place for you. They have enough equipment to get by, but that’s about it. No mixing bowls, no crock pot, no grilling tools, etc. we weren’t there to cook so it worked fine for us. - The property is on Balboa Blvd, and you can hear the road noise in the master bedroom all night. You get used to it after a couple of days, but just be aware it’s there. - The master bedroom has a cool skylight type window on the wall that faces North. The property across the alleyway has a motion activated security light that goes on and off all night and lights up the master bedroom through that window. Such a great price for a 4/3 in walking distance to the beach. Everything was close by. The only negative I would give it is that the master is right on the main road so you get a lot of car noise all night. Remember to bring ear plugs or a white noise machine/app if you aren't used to that. The other bedrooms were quiet. We would definitely book again. A HUGE plus was the garage! ##### Sarah H. The bedroom/bath layout is well suited for grandparents to share with their kids and grandkids - giving privacy for all. Very clean and well appointed. Management was prompt and accommodating. Just a couple minutes from the sand and walking distance to the grocery store and many restaurants. Plenty of bath and beach towels provided as well as toilet paper. The only downside was the road noise at night in the master. We had read that it could be a problem so brought a sound machine but even with that on and the fan I was still woken many times a night by loud cars and motorcycles. The master bedroom also does not get very dark as there is a window without blinds and a really bright street light outside. That said I would stay here again. Thanks for a great stay! ##### Jenny B.
