It’s a in a great location with walkable access to the beach and town. The beds were comfortable and the home was equipped with everything we needed. They shared a larger house where we spent a lot of time. We returned to this house at the end of the evenings for peaceful nights. This was perfect for a couple! We kept the windows open during the day and only ran the AC in the bedroom at night for coolness and white noise. This little house is conveniently located equal distance from the ferry and Marine St. It’s a quick 1/2 block to the walking path around the island. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it was conveniently located in a quiet courtyard just out the back door. We love Balboa Island and have made several trips here. I love that everything is within walking distance. We parked the car and walked all week. It’s very convenient to have a parking spot in the rear of the house. Check in and out was quick and easy. Having designated parking spot makes leaving the island stress-free, although street parking was plentiful.
