From this location, you can safely walk or ride bikes anywhere on the Newport Peninsula, Balboa Island, or down to Huntington Beach (45-minute bike ride in one direction) along the oceanfront boardwalk. However, with more than 30+ restaurants & bars, shops, electric boat/jet ski rentals, Surfboard/Stand-Up-Paddle-board Lessons all in the area you will never need to travel far! Although you may be looking for a quiet getaway, the action is never more than a Walk/Bike Ride away. We had an issue with a car blocking the opening to the garage, they very quickly resolved it. We enjoyed the fire pit (very easy to use). There were plenty of towels for inside and the beach. The location can't be beat. We walked to the pier for breakfast, groceries nearby, water is so close you can hear the waves from the back bedroom at night.We had the place to ourselves, not sure what it would have been like to have a family in the unit above. I would recommend this place to friends if they want a beachfront home that is easy to access and close to shopping and other activities/restaurants. ##### Michiko L.
