There is a separate unit upstairs (above garage) occupied by a long term tenant. No shared spaces minus the garage (1 car for guest, 1 car for tenant). The washer and dryer are located in the garage and shared with the tenant (sign on wall for hours of use for fair sharing). Guests can use washer and dryer from 11am to 4pm daily. We want your vacation rental experience to be memorable and convenient. Keeping a comfortable and clean property is what is most important to us. We will be available anytime via messenger to answer any questions or concerns. We take the approach of being hands off on the property unless needed - we want you to feel like you have the home all to yourself! DAMAGE PROTECTION The extra charge listed as “Waivo Insurance” on your reservation covers accidental damage in the home within a certain limit. If something happens or breaks during your stay please let us know immediately so we can file a claim. Note: This amount only covers a 10 day or less stay. If you are staying longer than 10 days we will request the difference in amount for coverage. MARRIOTT GUESTS -- You are not charged a Waivo Fee. The attention to detail made for a comfortable stay. The cottage is very clean, uncluttered and offers several seating areas to relax and enjoy the vibe of Balboa Island. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen and hanging out on the front patio which is generously sized. The beach and ferry are a short walk away which was convenient. This cottage shows pride of ownership and attention to detail. It was easy to communicate with the management service about our stay and the check-in/checkout process.
