Take a quick ride over to the Balboa Fun Zone, balboa pier, and miles of sandy beaches. Or take a casual stroll around the bay front to enjoy the shops and restaurants on Marine Ave, Balboa Island. There is a local store, coffee shops and restaurant only a block away. The cottage has a unique front yard patio on Balboa Island for outdoor dining or a little R&R. Loved the location for a small quiet and peaceful “staycation” Nice street, friendly neighbors and a tiny island feel. Also nice to have good coffee 2 blocks away! The front yard was also, we thought, one of the best yards on the whole island for little ones to play. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need for a 3 week stay. The beds were very comfortable. John, the host responded instantly to any requests, the checkin could not have been easier. The wood floor had just been refurbished and the cleaners had not got rid of all the dust. As soon as John was told the cleaners were back and the place was spotless. A superb location for enjoying Balboa Island and the Peninsula. We will book it again if we revisit Balboa. ##### Graeme B.
