The house and surroundings are so relaxing and beautiful. There was plenty of room for 9 of us. I loved waking up to the sound of the cows in the pasture behind us and the birds on the lake. Only 15 minutes from the Shannon airport. Just a short drive to Newmarket on Furgus where there were several pubs, places to eat, and a grocery store. You definitely need a car because nothing is really within walking distance. But it was the perfect base for our trips every day. We would absolutely stay here again! For our time in Ireland, we booked our stay at this property at New ark et on Fergus, as it was centrally located for our day trips to the west and southwest regions of Ireland. The property was close to the Shannon airport, close to pubs, and grocery stores, and reasonably close to access to the motorways. We spent most of our days driving around Ireland, so the home was used primarily for sleeping, and a quick bite to eat in the morning before beginning our day’s adventure, and for our purposes, the property was just right. The property was clean and properly prepared prior to our arrival, the host provided written instructions for getting to the home from the airport, as well as all of the information needed to get into the home, the wifi password, how to operate the television, and so on. Very quiet and peaceful. The view from the patio was perfect with the morning coffee or to watch the swan. Neighborhoods were friendly, Although we did not see a lot of them, The few we did see were very nice. Prepare for very, very narrow roads with fast drivers. If you plan to bring children, they would love this. There’s a Huge yard front and back. It is within close proximity to some really nice/fun attractions. The price was 100% worth it. It was not as pricey as others. We were fortunate that we received very little rain. And the rain that we did get was not during the times we needed it to be sunny so that worked out perfectly.
