« Check in was super easy. The host messaged me the code for the door lock on our day of check in and no issues. The room is above a steakhouse in an older, Victorian style home. The room has everything you need. A bed, a smart tv, a toilet and a shower. The room was clean when we arrived and the shower had different shampoos and soaps in it. Charlie, the owner, met us in person to give us the key and show us around for an extensive tour so that almost every kitchen appliance and dish was made known to us, (except the electric kettle, which was hiding in a cupboard and worked well!) There is no dishwasher, but we didn't mind washing the dishes we used, and there were also disposable ones. The refrigerator was well-stocked with beverages of all kinds and other groceries, and there were multiple cupboards filled...

« Fishing/Lake: There is absolutely no access to the lake, including the community beach. No swimming. No fishing. Such details must be in the property's details in caps. Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house....

« Unbelievable home and location! 15 minutes from Legoland NY and Castle Fun. We did not get to explore the downtown too much, but a drive through impressed us. Found a great pie shop 10 minutes away and some solid pizza. Back to the home...the pictures tell it all. Great host as well. Could use a few more larger frying pans for cooking, but otherwise very well-stocked! Could fit 3 families of 4 here no problem. Will be back! »
